He isn’t coming if only we did a stream.

Club loyalties aside, surely you must question the validity of 'no streaming' at Glasgow?!  It just seems strange when every other team does it and generates an extra income stream!

Regardless what I think our owners have decided not to stream.

It shouldn’t even be a debate.

Only match left this season where we can’t watch a Pirates match on a video stream. In 2024 that’s pretty poor from Glasgow when other much smaller clubs in the league have been streaming for several seasons, and making money out of it. Redcar on Friday consisted of a single camera and a commentator when there was action. Hardly costs much to put together and for £11.99 good value for money.

As for the meeting, well Pirates should win it but you never know. Was surprised when Glasgow announced their lineup and thought it was below par. Should be a good meeting. Shame you actually have to be at the ground to witness it.

Surly as a top pilots fan you will be making your way up to support your team on the terraces,  then again maybe not

fairly easy to get upto Glasgow via easy jet from Bristol,  if booked early £50 return,  like im doing going to Cardiff

But it becomes a debate when a well run club like Glasgow (apparently) are the only club not providing the opportunity for opposing fans to add to the club's revenue? Very strange imo.

If you look at the crowd when BSN are in attendance you'll see crowds at their lowest. Makes more sense looking at that why they don't stream. Also Glasgows stream was very high quality with multiple camera angles around the stadium, must have been quite expensive to have run for probably little to no gain.

No, you’re quite correct, it IS Glasgow we’re talking about…….no apparently about it.

I understand what you are saying but I wonder why this only seems to happen at Glasgow? Most other clubs run multi camera streams very successfully with no negative effect on attendance.

Isn't it the case that Glasgow would have considered an in house stream, as opposed to the bought in one used immediately after lockdown, if there were volunteers to run it? None came forward and the idea dropped.

I don't think that's the case. I think they have decided they want the stadium as full as possible, and as good businessmen, they will know very well how much money was in the streaming. They have very clearly decided it wasn't worth it.

Their outgoing streaming costs would have been 5 times higher than other clubs, and so decided it’s not worth it. Rather than just copying what everyone else does. No one wants to see footballers and local celebrities commentating.

It is the case. Peter Facenna asked for volunteers to run an in house stream.

I’m not bothered about streaming - more interested in watching live but I rather fear for the Tigers in this one. Riss for Stevie should help and although Ivacic ended with a win it was only after Mountain had messed up/been wrongly excluded (take your pick).

IMO only a strong start for Tigers will see them through otherwise, the swashbucklers will take all the points and LBW will overdose on flat whites

Whys everyone getting there nickers in a twist over Glasgow not streaming? First year back for us in this league and even I knew why Glasgow didn’t stream. What an entitled bunch.
