Allen done his average and is well above it at home,it’s how the team is built and that what averages are about, see how poole go on scorpions turf

When Godfrey gets around to sorting a date!

And 'scorpions turf', av they ran out of shale and turned their hand to grass track? :D

One thing is for sure Pirates won't lose by 32 points 'on scorpions turf'!

Having me celebration flat white at Costa Poole :t: Sing along to the tune.......

Still buzzing from last night where the Pirates were in dominating form. Sets Glasgow and Workington up perfectly with prime confidence.

But will we see Tobias our Great Dane? :(

To watch him leave the track on crutches was not nice. He has said this morning he's hoping to see his own doctor in Denmark asap. He thinks its another sprain but worse than previously. To be honest I'd be more than happy if he rests up and we cope with what we've got, Tobias moves to reserve for August (Sam Hagon to 2) so he could easily clean up for the Pirates next month!

I have just watched the video on YouTube of heat 2. Two riders landed in the fence in different incidents and both times it looked as though they had assistance from the rider on the inside line but both times the rider who had fallen was excluded. Maybe this is why a lot of riders won't try to go around someone.

I fully accept that the angle shown in the video may give a false impression of what actually happened and would be interested in the views of those who were there.

in the first running when Luke crashed there was no assistance from Sam who just squeezed him up a bit at he was on the inside. As the track was quite heavy going in to the corner the  bike surged forward rather than slid causing him to come down.  Thats how he described it last night and video shows it
