szkocjasid
Odd team managing by the Comets imo, giving Vuolas the r/r in heat 5 against a pairing he'd just lost a 5-1 too.

Home club should have said no go as visiting team are uncompetitive. Everyone should ignore monarchs bleating about poor crowds. Oh dear, so every match that teams are missing riders cause they’re weakened shouldn’t go ahead? So should Workington have postponed when we were there Earlier in the season when we couldn’t get a guest for Pickering or a decent replacement for Lasse? Brain dead.
Firestone1
Job done, came for the bonus point and got it. Move on to the next one, hopefully Batch and Sam aren't too bad after their falls and get Tate's replacement in. Keyboard warriors can get back in their parent's spare bedrooms now. Funny how some not only think there's a bottomless pit of rider's available, but that Celina could have easily got to Edinburgh from Luton!!

It will be interesting to see his score and performance, especially as Workington captain, surely he should lead by example. Didn’t affect Cooks performance.

If as suggested she was in London/Luton around lunchtime what’s so fanciful about making it to Edinburgh and then on to Armadale for a 7.30 meeting?

I drove from Newcastle to Luton airport last Friday, it took 7 hours with all the constant roadworks on the M1 and the traffic wasn’t even that bad, but going north was worse. Edinburgh is a further 3 hours away. She would have not got there for 7pm, more like 9 or 10 in reality.

You expect them to take an extra day away from their families, just incase Microsoft has a random daft turn? Who's paying for the (unnecessary on 99.99999% of occasions) overnight accommodation? You happy to chuck a fiver in the collection hat? Good to see Antti Vuolas win a race. Highlight of the evening Speedy recovery to young Sedgy. Woeful 'team riding' from Josh in the first running of heat 1. A good, solid scorechart throughout the Monarchs' ranks. Worky achieved their mission and everyone went home happy (I presume).
Woke23
Everyone needs to calm their ** in here. Celina and vissing unfortunately affected by Microsoft incident. We couldn't get any replacements and everyone chipped in. Vuolas adapted to the track eventually. Sam got a second and looked good in it. Cookie saved us the bonus point and troy done well too. We got the bonus point, embarrassing edinburgh for not beating us by more, but they get a much needed win. Btw, pickering show boating in the race with just richardson in it was a d*** move Edited July 19 by Woke23

But also to suggest as you are, that they didn’t try hard enough is very wide of the mark. The East Coast Main Line was actually CLOSED for a period today due to person being hit by a train. topaz325
Just home , well done Worky lads for giving it a good go, yes we got the aggregate bonus point which was always the aim after the team was decimated. Hope Justin Sedgmen is ok from the nasty looking crash, also Batch is injured too but hopefully ok. 50 Worky fans made the trip up and Cookie certainly put on a show , even Antti improved and got a win in his last ride and wee Sam got a second place in his last ride . Well done to the Meteors who came home with a cup.
