boz
Really not sure how I feel about that meeting. First off congratulations to Poole - their top men turned up at the business end of the meeting. Hell of a collapse though - from 6 points up to 4 down on three heats? I guess the gates did favour the Pirates towards the end of the meeting and they took full advantage. Lack of a third heatleader again killed us really - worst meeting Wright has had for us as long as I can remember but no one else there to pick up the slack really. No one was poor per se, Jenkins rode fairly well as did Gilkes in a couple of heats. Not sure where the Bears go from here as league season looks over. I guess Redcar could've expected more from Mulford. Good heat 2, but followed with 4 last places.

However he realised his mistake or got a call from Middlo and rescinded his decision to use it in a more advantageous heat, hence Thomsen's 'ef' to maintain the six point deficeit! Doh! Robinh88
Didn't go tonight as i chose the Polish stream instead. Like the racing at Redcar this season the score was predictable. To be fair Poole are a top side and will win trophies. Is the top four still a possibility for the Bears? Depressing!!!
lbw
Another enjoyable visit to the ECCO Arena and how Ben Cook loves riding around there. Mind you Richard wasn't far behind him and those 2 combining for 5-1s in heats 13 & 15 was a treat to watch Was great to catch a word with Danny Ford for 5 minutes before the meeting and we both predicted a 48-42 Pirates win, not far out! Hope Vinnie gets his bikes sorted after wrecking both & hope his shoulder isn't too badly injured. Excellent, we came through in the end after a battling display Congratulations to all the Boyzzzz, Havvy & Danny 41-49 3 points in the bag! C'mon the Boyzzzz! Do Poole fans actually watch speedway first Shovlar doesn’t know the rules then says the loss of Foord made it tough lol Would you rather have Hagon take 7 rides or have Foord take 3 of those ?? Erm easy answer that one And then this tac sub issue … Poole were 6 down going into heat 11 up against an unbeaten King …… if Poole had a heat advantage in heat 11 they couldn’t have had a tac sub in heat 12 against a weaker pairing of Gilkes and Mulford It made sense for Poole to get a 3-3 in heat 11….. that’s tactics and absolutely no issue with that but blimey it’s difficult for some Poole fans to understand lol
