lbw
Intriguing clash with Bears missing Connor Bailey (mental exhaustion break)and according to all sources Pirates will be missing Tom Brennan due to Polish committments . At time of writing there's no news on r/r or guest. Unless someone out there can enlighten us all. I assume the rest of the teams will line up unchanged. Looking forward to travelling up for this one and I can see this going all the way with plenty of great racing that the ECCO Arena track delivers. Never been let down Lawson vs the likes of Wright/King will throw up some real battles along with the engine room & reserves. Will be avin me pre meeting flat white for this one C'mon the Boyzzzz Edited July 16 by lbw
crescent girl
While dipping a toe into a Poole thread is risky, given that some of the worst of forum fannies lurk therein (no names, no pack drill) I bear news. Redcar will have Jordan Jenkins back, doing his best Connor Bailey impersonation. Also, Poole are listing their regular team (including Tom Brennan, Tobias Thomsen and Vinnie Foord) for Friday. SteveLyric2
Tom Brennan has stated on his racing schedule that he rides for Gdansk on Friday!
Bagpuss
On what basis is Tom required to be in Poland rather than Redcar?

This was being debated on the Poole thread yesterday. So will be a bit deja vu for some people!

You could question who have helped create that situation over the last number of years.Riders are dictating the sport in this country, although there is not a easy answer to this situation we need negotiate contracts better.Poland doesn’t guarantee regular Team places perhaps we need to take that into account. We all know decent riders are not going to hang about over but there is certainly no guarantee to the journeymen rider will make a living abroad. Jaizer
I'm struggling to see why Poole should have any facility if it's a pre arranged fixture and a rider is choosing to be elsewhere.
lukeellis
This fixture has been set since fixtures came out,it is not a re-arranged fixture.

Marksman
It is a re-arranged fixture, was originally down as Round 7 on 1st June. Was then cancelled on 22nd June and this is the 3rd restaging. The reason why is probably because it's still a Poland re-staging priority day
j2ohh
a replacement can be used . but it could be a 3.00 rider from the lower league ..

Jaizer
18 minutes ago, Arthur54 said: Why should Poole suffer, the Redcar fixture was announced when the fixtures were released Because they're the rules when riders choose to be somewhere else. Much like the complin situation start of season we were punished for a riders failings, Poole should be no different. If it's rearranged fair enough because we're so far done the list of priorities but I can't see any evidence in any fixture lists in bspl, Redcar or Poole website saying there was a previous postponement
lukeellis
At the risk of repeating myself, the Redcar vPoole fixture which is what the thread is about!! is on this date as originally set at start of season, not rearranged. This is the match I’m talking about
geoff100
Simple answer is to postpone the fixture to another date putting the fans first,or the usual reason these days " weather forecast doesnt look good".
