Bagpuss
I was under the impression that the 75% rule is the lowest level facility available, ie if a rider is absent without a good reason? The idea being that it's way below the level of R/R or a proper guest.

As neither of those has now happened, I think this situation now needs clarification.

Didn’t rule out a return for Sheffield against Ipswich the week before either. 14 minutes ago, Gavan said: He said at the end ‘hope you all understand’ so it won’t be Cardiff He likes to play games and lead people up the garden path. I wouldn’t pay much attention to his hints. Could be totally wrong though, we’ll have to wait and see.

Manifesto
Think even before injury he knew his gp days were done. Possible retirement from international speedway?
tellboy
So as Lynn have to use a guest of 6.16 or below for Musielak at 1,and it's Sedgemen this time, surely he will be able to take an RR for Klindt. You can't be penalised twice surely.

There's only restrictions when a rider is "withholding his services" so as long as Klindt doesn't return to action abroad but say he's not fit enough to ride here, Lynn should have a facility till the end of the season (as I understand the rules).

I know we are allowed RR for Klindt as long as he is injured. What I'm saying is can Sedgemen take one of those tomorrow. He is at no1 on a 6.16 average, but there are riders higher than that. Klindt is third in the KL averages. The one immediately above (Basso) can take a ride, and anyone below (Iversen, Kvech, Wojdylo, Rowe) Edited July 17 by RoundTheBoards

Gotcha. The 75% average is for guests, not team positioning, so Sedgmen rides at 1, doesn't get a r/r outing. Actually helps Lynn, they're better off being able to give Basso an extra ride than Sedgmen.

Sedgmen assumes the average of the rider he is replacing (Musielak) so as Klindt is third in the Lynn averages the answer should be no.
