Oxford v Ipswich 4th July

TBF in real time I would have excluded Tungate but watching the extensive replays in the bar  Scott did try to drop it on Tungate when he had the outside line to use. You could see from his left arm position how hard he pulled it across Tungate. There was no racing room left so contact was always going to be the outcome. I don’t especially rate last night’s referee most of the time but i genuinely feel she made the right decision.

Not like they were level with one another, Scott’s entitle to his line, tungate comes steaming in narrow way too fast to scrub his speed off, always going to the fence and wipes Scott out

No Tungate had the inside racing line and Scott moved over onto it to try and block the move. Sadly he was too late. It was Scott’s slight error in judgement that caused the stoppage. Like I said in real time I would have blamed Tungate but TV replays show he wasn’t the guilty party for the stoppage.

Anyone heard if Richie is paying for the phone he flung against the wall in anger haha that was my same feeling after hearing the exclusion. Red was poor last night. Anyone else thought it was a weird decision to bring back a possible heat advantage to Ipswich when Ashton impeded himself with his false start?! But when he moved in a previous heat they let it go and he won the race!

AB moved at the start 3 times. IMO due to the lack of consistency among referees the ruling should be changed.

Every rider knows if they touch the tapes they're either off 15m or replaced by a reserve, while still having to have three rides.

So allow them to move as much as they like like once the Greenlight comes on.

If you touch the tapes along with your 15m handicap / reserve replacement you also get a fine.

£50 in PL and £25 in CL with no financial penalty in NDL as those riders will as they move up, learn not to move.

Fines to SRBF

It was a six of one and half a dozen of the other incident.

Just put all 4 back in, unless the rules have changed a rider doesn't have to be excluded for the stoppage. Though I've only see it happen once in the donkeys years I've been watching speedway.

I’ve literally watched mate like everyone else, Scott was in front and can take whatever line he wishes, tell yourself what you want if it makes you feel better.

hopefully that one point you got from that decision means you sneak in the playoffs, be a nice easy semi final for us

Why does Janowski go so well in Poland but over here he is so off the pace a lot of the time. It is not him so it must be the.equipment he is using. Tonight he seems to be going so well and it must b3 frustrating for UK supporters to see him when he is clearly not at his best in the UK. Has his Polish club told him not to take chances?

You can’t compare polish (carpet) tracks to English tracks, maybe make a case for Belle Vues track but the others are different. He also had an extra ride tonight in for the absence Tai, although granted 14 is still a great tally for a meeting! I’m not just saying it because I’m Ipswich but Emil is a freak how good he is on our tracks! Although kvech is doing well!

You've got it the wrong way round.  There's no such thing as All 4 Back - when the ref stops a race, they shall disqualify a rider ...

"012.1.12 Primary Cause of Stoppage

The only person with the power to stop a heat is the Referee.
When a heat is stopped, the Referee shall disqualify the rider, who in their opinion is the primary cause of the stoppage."

I'm guessing you're not refering to movement at the tapes or unsatisfactory starts, they involve all 4 coming back for the restart?
