he’s a bit raw and his gating is not up to scratch yet.  no doubt the boy has potential but not ready for the premiership judging by his performance at glasgow.  bit of a desperate gamble from the aces

Connor must be fixed up elsewhere otherwise I don't think they'd drop him. Leicester? Sheffield?

Just seen the Belle Vue Aussies have signed Tate Sachke and dropped British racer Conner Mountain, cant see the point unless Lemo wants a all Aussie team

C'mon, at least spell his name right!

Anyone who's seen Tate ride knows how much potential he has and in fact, how good he already is.

they need a reserve who can. score points at sheffield and ipswich.  he’s never seen either track and can only wind it on round the outside

Yes they do but don't wright the lad off as just a throttle jockey, he has a lot of potential, how far he will go will depend on a lot of factors but he does have a lot going for him.

Another foreigner pushing an english rider out wonder what UKVI may have to say about it ?, these visas were supposedly issued if you cannot fill a vacancy, is it any wonder that UK Speedway is in such a mess. I can understand using heat leaders as the UK does not have sufficient riders of that calibre but here we are using foreigners when their are english riders of similar calibre.

Sheffield can’t fit him in unless they swap him for Howarth which they’re not going to do. He fits at Leicester for Cook, or Oxford for Riss. Those are his only options really.

In other words we need a gater.
I’m happy with Tate if he’s the racer people say he is.

If he wanted an all Aussie team he wouldn’t have replaced Max with Dan.

How is it in a mess? If our homegrown riders were good enough they’d have a team place, it’s as simple as that. Take your stupid brexit tunnel visioned glasses off.

I reckon yous should both put the bottle down before posting on here. Also, instead of slating an 18 year old why don’t you educate yourself and give him a chance before making assumptions.

You only have to look at the British Youth Championship competitors from 10 to 15 years ago to see how poor the youth development has been in this country. Some people look to Lambert, Bewley & DJ Woffy riding in the GP's and will claim it to be a success.

I wonder if there has ever been any analysis done as to why 90% of these competitors chose to give Speedway up after having gone to all the trouble of acquiring the setup to compete... let alone having the gonads to swing their leg over a motorbike with no brakes! Especially in a country whose leagues rely so very heavily on foreign and doubling up riders.

And none of those three (or Adam Ellis) got the majority of their youth experience in the British Youth Championships (Germany, late starter, Australia, and French grasstrack respectively)

Unfortunately when the grass track production line dried up, so did a lot of the talent. If you look at the amount of star quality riders who came from Grass Track back in the 80s and 90s the list goes on and on. Now we are in the situation where if you take away the British GP riders, Brennan Is the only young up and coming rider who looks like he might make the grade in the top flight league in Poland and the GPs. We keep being told we have a great prospects coming up through the youth scene yes Tom Brennan came through that system and young Flint has done well to qualify for SGP2, but he's still only a rising star in the top league, when he should be kicking on by now! The days of Doncaster, Cross, Tatum, Wigg, Havlock, Screen etc have long gone!

Tbf, I watched SGP3 the other day and we had two british kids riding. Cooper Rushen looked good but the other kid, William, looked phenomenal.
