Sheffield Tigers vs King’s Lynn Stars - Thursday 27th June - KO Cup Semifinal Leg 2

Recommended Posts

Thoughts and predictions ahead of this one.

Full team news to be announced today I assume.

My proposed 1-7

Sheffield Tigers

1. Jack Holder - 12(5)

2. Kyle Howarth - 6(4)

3. Chris Holder - 9(4)

4. Josh Pickering - 7(4)

5. Tai Woffinden - 11(5)

6. Jason Edwards - 3(5)

7. Dan Gilkes - 1(3)

King’s Lynn Stars

1. Ryan Douglas - 9(5)

2. Niels Kristian Iversen - 4(4)

3. Ben Basso - 5(4)

4. Ben Cook - 6(4)

5. Jan Kvech - 7(5)

6. Patryk Wojdylo - 7(5)

7. Anders Rowe - 3(3)

Going to be a real tough one for the Stars to defend the 10-point lead. Will need a big night from Kvech and the 2 reserves if we’re going to make it to the magic 41 points

Sheffield to win by 14.. Jack and Woffy 5-1’s in 13 and 15 to bring the house down

To be honest you should win by more than that. How Lynn won by 10 at home was quite remarkable really.Think Sheffield really had a bad night that night, especially Woffy and J.Holder who would have been disappointed with their return by their high standards.

This all depends on the guests we can get....with Tobi and Nic fit I reckon we stood a good chance but it's going to be very difficult whoever their replacements are.

55-35 or thereabouts.

Realistically the best guests we could get are who Starboy has said,Douglas and Cook imo.Worrall maybe instead of Cook,or Brennan/Lawson instead of Douglas, but i think Douglas does ok around Sheffield.

Im sure some nice Sheffield fans would help us out and tell who goes best there:D

Lawson and Zach Cook.. decent guests to be fair. But not as good as Klindt and Tobi who would probably be worth 20 points between them

Oh well, looks like we have given up on the tie already.I was thinking Douglas and B.Cook would probably give us a chance of getting to about 38 points.

Sheffield to win on the night 52-38 and just get through on aggregate.  The big 3 of Holder bros and Woffinden have been great around Owlerton this year and could get low to mid 30’s between them, Pickering and Howarth to get something like 6-8 each and Edwards and Gilles to pick up around a dozen between them.
For Lynn to have any chance Wojdylo needs to have a stormer with no tac sub available he could have 7 rides, Basso and Lawson generally do well around there, Cook usually 5 or 6 points on his visits, NKI was poor last time at Owlerton, Rowe hit and miss but has popped out for the odd win, Kvech is the unknown you’d think the Eastern Europeans would like Owlerton but not always the case with it not being as smooth as what they are used too, he could do a KK from last season and fail to do anything or be like Musielak who loves it around there

Going up for this, can anyone tell me where it’s best to park please

Get there early and its free in the car park.. Otherwise there's a few parking spaces on adjacent roads but then again you have to be early.  Front row in the car park is best position if you're wanting to get away quick.

Thanks for that, we should be there about six so hopefully get a space in the car park.
