Would Workington have signed Kemp as their number one? No. Not working for Cook in the Prem apart from a few good meetings, but I can't blame Dickson for trying him.

Until this is addressed, along with the cost, Tv meetings will never attract any sort of crowd unless it's a play off Having a large screen to watch the TV coverage replays etc at the same time, and all the interviews and comments too, could help maybe? It is mind numbing being sat there for what seems a long, long time waiting for your next race to start...

Until this is addressed, along with the cost, Tv meetings will never attract any sort of crowd unless it's a play off Arena Essex did this and the stadium was packed but unless you get the ‘tribal support’ like you have in Poland it is just not going to happen. We all know that the sport can be fast and exciting and if sold as one of the most dangerous two wheeled sports with riders powered by 500 cc bikes with no brakes (simple as it sounds but who outside speedway knows this fact) it is not going to appeal, it needs dressing up from a media perspective and you need to fill stadia or get one of the Sky channels to show Polish speedway be it Dave or one of the others. Surely with the right medium the sport can make progress in the UK. It has all the ingredients but not necessarily in the right order.

Steve Shovlar
Good race heat 13 but the crowd….gods waiting room. Dont they know how to cheer? Chalk and cheese to Poole’s grandstand where the roof would have come off. And a terrible crowd there. A few hundred?

They do not quote all the stats tha Polish speedway show, gate wins, speed, lap times etc. The u k version needs to show this for what it is, the audience is far mor sophisticated that Eurosport gives them credit for. JoeW436
I thought Belle Vue would suit Ben Cook down to the ground.

I can blame him, surely everyone knows Cook is massively inconsistent at this level and Kemp wasn't even at fault for Leicesters poor form

BackInTheDHSS
Was Masters excluded in heat 15 or something? He clearly beat Lidsey on the track.

Meanwhile you're content to watch 2nd division racing on a tinpot track, as you were. Some fantastic racing tonight, plenty of passing, well done both teams for providing great entertainment.

Yes the racing was good tonight. Just a shame the promotion forgot to open the gates.

You know full well why people don't bother with live tv meetings, there are posts in this thread to that effect, the delays are mindnumbing. You support a team with no real local sporting competition, it's either speedway or powerboat racing, that's why your crowds hold up. I just don't understand why you constantly bring up the same rubbish about crowd numbers yet virtually ignore the fact that we've just seen such a brilliant meeting on the best track in Britain.
