RoundTheBoards
Edwards can't guest as Rising Star for Hagon. Edwards is in a premiership 1-7 which makes him ineligible.
Arch Stanton
When Dan Thompson’s season ended early last year, Ipswich had to use Joe Thompson (unattached) and Jack Smith (unattached) from the rising star list as guests. Edwards also guested once, AFTER being dropped by King’s Lynn and therefore unattached.
szkocjasid
It would make sense for Edwards to be deemed ineligible, otherwise Sheffield would be the only Premiership team unable to use a Premiership rider as a guest RS. If allowed any other club could use Edwards, but Sheffield would have to use an unattached RS. Would be a daft situation where Sheffield were penalised for using more "riding stars" than is necessary.

Leicester have to use an unattached rising star from the list. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/sports-insure-premiership/premiership-rising-stars-criteria/ Yes, that clearly states Edwards is not eligible because he is in a "Premiership line-up elsewhere"

szkocjasid
Surely if there's any doubt about the legality of the visiting team, Belle Vue should be putting in a protest?
RoundTheBoards
Not even one of those occasions where the rules are ambiguous. The rule is very clear: SR11.4 "If riding at #7 a guest from the Rising Star list must be used, their MA must be lower or equivalent to the missing rider. The Rising Star guest must not be in a current Premiership 1-7."

Teromaafan
Well that would appear to tip the balance in the Ace’s favour then! Honestly, who gives a stuff, I expect the Aces to comfortably rack up 55 points regardless.

For a supposedly professional sport, it's a shame clubs don't know the rules, keep nominating illegal riders, then have to correct it.
TTT
So many rules even the clubs themselves don't know half of them. Bit of a blow losing the in form Hagon for Killeen as I think Hagon would've scored points against both of the Aces reserves.

Stopped watching after debacle with Colts and Lion Cubs in first NJL match of season. Have seen so many posts about how bad its been at NSS and all self inflicted. But all you numpties just accept it and roll over, well jolly good for you. Crack on Most North West Counties League teams charge around £10 and with proper footballers, not your Premier League prima donnas eh you keep out of mens talk, and just concentrate on putting make up all over your face. He might be in form the second division, but I don't think he would have got much change out of the Aces reserves to be fair.
