Interesting meeting both teams took a thumping on Thursday will Aces go for R/R for kurtz or guests from Ipswich ? Sheffield? oxford ? ( tungate already guesting for Lynn) Aces should win at NSS fricke will obviously go well but can't see any other Leicester riders scoring enough to trouble us ? Weather set to sunny & fine also on Eurosport :t:

Fricke scored 4 on his last visit... this could be a disaster, not Lawson's favourite track by some accounts, he may decide to dust off his protective boot for this one. Becker & Masters could only beat Jordan Jenkins once between them at Ippo last Thursday.

Stewart Dickson keeps saying he's looking for a response whenever we get beaten, he doesn't have the luxury of a home meeting after the inept display at Ipswich though.

Best home team v worse at present away team.

All looking good for the televised Eurosport meeting then! Kelvin needs to dig deep into the bullrubbish vault to convince viewers that we’re in for a great meeting.

Bullrubbish? Bloody auto correct again! Insert bull5h1t instead……obviously.

Pre sale tickets are some of the worst I’ve seen for Premiership Aces meeting, with it being on TV.

It will only get worse as the clueless are  in charge.

Marginalising supporters and taunting them about ticket prices and needing supporters to support a venture that could be in financial jeopardy.

Where was the initial business plan for SON? Was their ever one?

Who can afford to go to every League, Cup, Colts and SON.

£61 for a family tomorrow, Food £27.90 for Adult dining and £11.90 for Children........ Total of £100.80

This equates to £6.72/minutes racing..................If you include the tractor racing of 30 minutes/meeting, how does this look to any new/potential speedway supporter.

Businesses fail due to bad planning and management, fact.

Forget about it being on TV, make it cheaper/freebies to school kids on the night to attract newbies and actually get it out their so people know speedway exists in Manchester still.

Family ticket 2 adults & 2 U16 £45. Have your tea at home before venturing out to the speedway if you don’t like the prices or use the van outside.

Fail on your part due to bad planning. Fact.

Must admit I’m old school and just enjoy each individual race. If every race was great and we or the Lions won 75-15 I’d be happy. I know modern fans prefer the gate ‘n’ go with a close score but it just doesn’t do it for me.

I must have missed all the local advertising of the meeting when I was in Manchester today...

Must have been 30,000 people walking up and down Market St alone today..

The "lucky lucky men" and the "sweetcorn sellers" (who buys that?), were doing a brisk trade...

Edit. Just been on the BV website. Wow. Lots of seats left..

I presume the money that Discovery pays them must easily cover the attendance drops you see at every TV meeting?

That is the only reason I can think of as to why no advertising or special promotion for the TV  meeting is ever done around the country...

Going with a bold prediction.

Leicester finally put in a team performance and pick up a win at Belle Vue.

Mountain scored poorly in both leagues last week so maybe he's hit a blip and I'm not sure BV can cover for Kurtz with Lidsey being way too hit and miss this season.

As for Leicester, Dougie normally puts on a show around the NSS, Cookie should score a fair few at reserve and Fricke should put in a big performance on his former home track.

Why do I have to look on the Belle Vue website to find the Lions team and riding order? At the time of posting this, there is nothing on the Lions site for a meeting taking place tomorrow.

Maybe waiting for the Polish matches to finish that have their riders in?

Do you not eat on the other 6 days a week?

If you sit down to watch Eastenders at tea time, do you add the cost of your meal to the cost of the TV licence and then rant at the BBC?

The cost of food is purely your choice.   If I go up to Manchester on a Monday, I just throw a sandwich together.  So I probably spend less on food that night than I would for dinner on a non-speedway night.

£61 for a family ticket seems decent value to me.   But you could always go on the NSS back straight with a family for £46.   That's £11.50 each.

Try and go to a football match for £11.50.   (And I won't even mention the cost of going to see Taylor Swift sing a few songs at a distance of 200 yards).

Sometimes Speedway supporters are just big whingers.

Perfect planning, boycott the meeting and don't bother watching at all. Quids in to spend on something meaningful
