21st century heathen
Hardly a supprise that Scott has taken the safe option. Couldn't havetold you was next in line though. Wonder why Tomas T didn't get the nod to ride?
Rico
Hardly a supprise that Scott has taken the safe option. Couldn't havetold you was next in line though. Wonder why Tomas T didn't get the nod to ride? There is a list of reserves for the GP, based on the result of last years Grand Final meeting at Poole. First reserve is Joonas Kylmakorpi (sp?) who was the first non-qualifier, then Simon Stead - both are unavailable at this stage, so the third man Dobrucki gets the nod. Last year there was a slightly different scenario in Cardiff where a rider pulled out the meeting on the Thursday - there was no way the reserve rider could make it (I think it was a Russian - possibly Povazhny) to the meeting in time, so Chris Harris got a very late call-up to the meeting at the choice of the home federation. Bryce
Just goes to show the vagaries of speedway. Fully half of those reserves are currently injured. Combined with the unavailability of Joonas, the field is pretty thin.
