Wolves have no home, no known land or track. I’m not sure how often you can say we still have no home no known land or no track

And you know that because ??? Yep you are guessing because you have heard nothing, wolves need to make it official, let fans and any potential new promoters that there may be know that the current promotion have hit a dead end if they the case, one of speedways issues over the years is it’s my ball and if I can’t play with it then nobody else can, not saying this applies here but it does smack of it

I know it because if there was any update we would all know.

It’s been 12 months. Some tracks are closed for many years (Birmingham, Workington and others) before there are any news at all.

People have an expectation to be filled in with information all the time when sometimes there is nothing to say.

That said some might have missed the update from the official site a few days ago.

only a matter of time for Uk to follow I would have thought...

Don’t underestimate the gaming industry, they have their feet well and truly under the agenda 2030 table

Well at last a statement from wolves and it’s as predicted not a positive one, so what’s the next move because as we stand wolves are finished with no prospects on the horizon, is there a short term fix until a longer term solution is reached somewhere, track sharing with Birmingham, alternate Mondays ? A move to Buxton?(60miles ) the track is still there unused, would attract former stoke and Buxton fans too, not ideal solution by any stretch but something cause at the moment that something isn’t there, one other thing I would like to see is entain actually state the door is firmly shut at monmore because until now they have said nothing and even when it was announced that wolves were out that statement came via wolves not from entain themselves, as we stand we don’t know anything about entains intentions for the stadium, something that grates on me is the lack of fight for monmore, it has from day one and I know I’m not the only one

If they were going to look at running elsewhere then presumably they'd have tried to get that off the ground in 2024.

It's probably a sure fire way of losing money so I can understand why they haven't

Finding land, getting permission, partners and finance for a multi purpose motor sport site then building it and running it must be the outside of all outside chances

Whilst Monmore is still there and most of the track intact it remains the best chance of something happening in my view however slight that chance might be

I don’t believe they would lose money short term but that’s the point it’s a short term solution, the track has completely gone at monmore, only the pits and the changing room remains but while the stadium is still there people change, plans change, entain have never once said why we are out, what’s their plans? What’s behind their thinking ? We can all speculate but the fact is we don’t know, they could argue it’s none of our business what their plans are but we could argue with the council this is our city and we deserve to know

Gambling company's, stadium owners or developers don't have any responsibility or probably interest in providing a venue for speedway, it was up to speedway to protect its own future but sadly bar a few exceptions it didn't,most promotions just went for the cheap option, you reap what you sow!!

While I agree largely with that, I find it strange that entain have never said a word about the situation at monmore, regarding the speedway or it future, we can all speculate about their intentions but we have heard nothing directly from them, as a stadium it’s in the financial interest to use the stadium as much as possible, they still doing the functions there as well as greyhounds and the speedway is of no inconvenience to their greyhound operation and with the rent and the bar/Resturant takings for what was 5 hours a week I would of thought it was a nice little earner for the stadium, however I’ve read that the people who made the decision are no longer there ? Entain are a huge company but are not exactly clean when it comes to finance, hence the huge fines they got last year for wrong doings, we as a club have done nothing to try to get us back at monmore and something doesn’t feel right to me about the whole thing

I think a premier league Wolves team running at Perry Barr on alternate Mondays with the Brummies would lose a significant amount and wouldn't do Birmingham any favours either

Maybe but it could be the thing that gets a lifeline at the end of the season for Birmingham when the dogs move out
