Cerro
15 point maximum for Pawelczak, looked levels above the rest. Good to see Cairns on the podium

IainB
There's something quite refreshing about watching SGP 3, I'm not normally one for junior racing but these kids are absolutely the cream of the crop and fantastically talented. I don't know if it makes a difference but it looks like there's a fine line of being too big for the 250's. Cairns seems to have had a bit of a growth spurt since last year and almost appears too big for the 250's. I got the same impression with Mikkel Andersen from 2022 when he won it and 2023 when it looked as if he'd overgrown the 250 and didn't win. Unfortunately though, for whatever reason, historically the previous rostrum winners never usually amount to much. I wonder why? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speedway_Youth_World_Championship?wprov=sfla1 Comparing it to the European Under-19 Individual Speedway Championship, ridden on 500cc machines it's a completely different tale, the 500's must be different beasts. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Under-19_Individual_Speedway_Championship Edited June 28 by iainb
OveFundinFan
Some talent there in those under 16’s. The power of those engines was too low for a largish track though. Add the fact some of those lads were physically too big for the bikes they were riding made more than a few races processional, but some showed their skill by catching and often passing the guy in front of them. Some of those lads today will by next year be in the sgp2, be good to follow their progress.
