I haven’t looked at the stats and may be wrong but I wonder if the three wolves riders had inflated averages due to monmore track advantage ?
plus all three have the ability to pass at wolves where at Leicester even the very best and quicker riders struggle to do so.

I looked at the averages before yesterdays debacle and compared the riders averages at the seasons start to what they have on the latest green sheet.  Douglas' average has increased by 6.16%: Masters' has reduced by 7.29% and Beckers'by 10.30%.  Just for interest,  Frickes' reduced by 7.34% and Lawson is up by 5.46%

That heat 7 ride from Emil was fantastic . Took Masters right out to the fence allowing Rew to nip past on the inside to join him for a 5-1. Superb stuff.

Yep and what’s always good about Emil is he’s hard and gets the job done but also fair

Douglas was usually better away from Monmore.

I feel for the away supporters who travelled to Foxhall to watch that embarrassing display from Leicester. Apart from Lawson the rest seemed to give up, including the team manager. Why use a TS in heat 12 when the score was 44-22, match over & aggregate bonus point already gone. It's amazing how many riders score better at Foxhall when guesting for Ipswich rather than against them (Masters).

He said himself on Facebook he had a bike issue.

Yeah, right.  He misjudged and went onto the centre green.

Can we just stop talking about this meeting please and let it drop it's way down the forum into oblivion.

I'm trying to forget about it!

Perhaps some of the Leicester riders are playing it 'safe' knowing Dickson's not scared to make changes. Why risk getting injured when you're not happy, there's no chance of winning, there's no team spirit and when you  might  lose your job thanks to your manager's attitude. Keep your average down and if sacked another team will sign you based on your 'potential'. It would also help get you a place next year.
