On paper this meeting should be a big win for Oxford. But the Spires haven't been as good as I expected this year & Ipswich can still win when understrength, so who knows!

If its a wet track then that could be to Ipswich's advantage.

Leicester already off, on the same forecast. But it happened on opening night, Leicester cancelled on a forecast, Oxford ran.

Watching the weather cross the country on the radar could be more exciting than the meeting on this one! :D

Doubt it will be a good meeting on a wet track if its on.

Putting off buying train & stadium tickets for this until the last minute, the forecast looks bad.

All I can say is fair play to you Siggy, travelling with a poor forecast. Just wish our sport had more supporters like you!

Forecast was poor, but its the hope it's wrong and we get some sort of meeting.

But must admit this isn't looking good, and it seems Leicester making the earlier call was the right one.

Agreed - there aren’t any forecasts that look remotely promising but Oxford often leave decisions until the situation is beyond doubt.

Speedway Shambles incoming.

Got force it to Heat 10 written all over this.

I'll bow down to your positive attitude.

It's no longer raining a mile from the track and the ground is hardly wet. Just spoke to a mate who is already there and the track is looking good.

With the forecast predicted it could still rain at any stage.

If we get a clear evening then happy days.

I hope I'm not speaking too soon... but Oxford are really setting an example to other clubs on how to get matches on! And before you all go apoplectic, yes I know they don't always get it right.

With three teams they can't really afford too many rain offs.
