Need that position sorted before the crucial fixtures.

Tai held his hand which I think he was implying Scott or Emil hit him as they were close. He knew he wasn’t in the race so pulled off the track. Only to cut back in whilst the race was ongoing and the started doing wheelies. Once the race finished he came to the grandstand and started doing a burnout. This guy is random to be polite! Funny when he fell off though! Edited June 10 by Shano101 1

It was not funny when Woffinden fell off ... very few falls are. He picked up some grip and did well to dump his bike into the last bit of air fence on the 4th bend. British Speedway has been crying out for some personalities and, dare I say it, "baddies", but now Woffinden is fulfilling that sort of role, people start moaning! Before the meeting, Woffinden was the only rider I saw who stopped and talked to fans, posing for numerous photos/selfies, before going into the pits.

If it was a bad accident then it wouldn’t be funny granted, but the fact he was fine is karma as far as I’m concerned. Even kids in the pits after the meeting were shouting “tai you’re an idiot” that tells you everything. In Poland he would have been suspended for going back into the track and doing what he done mid race. In England we treat him like he is untouchable and that’s not true. Also, as a person, did you actually hear about him wanting to be allowed to fight other riders after the races? Also what he did last week to his LOYAL polish mechanic is not something a decent guy would do.

4BenMoran
Good win for an injury hit Ipswich side even if Sayfutdinov had a bit of a mare for his high standards the rest of the team did what was needed. The positive for Sheffield out of this was number of race wins, just need to work on packing out the minor positions when at Foxhall again
blue witch
I do have to agree that we went off track shaking his hand and then suddenly back on track doing wheelies while the race is still going was stupid from him. He wouldn't do that in Poland or any other country he's raced in so why's he doing it here? Wait until after heat is done then do it for the crowd. Great for him to be back in British speedway and hopefully more riders follow the ones that have come back over last 1 1/2 years

siggysigalos
On last night, a good win for Ipswich, but should be expected even if we are still short of 2 Riders. We all know Chris Holder is nothing short of Rubbish around Foxhall, and he proved that again last night and thought Edwards was dissappointing as well. But what a ride from Dan Gilkes to beat Emil fantastic effort from the youngster and words fail me on Tai in Heat 15, but hes an entertainer, very quick last night to be fair, and after the meeting was pleasing to see he stayed around for photo's and autographs with quite a few Ipswich Supporters, which was made even better as he was getting a lift back with Simon Stead, who sat in his van patientlly waiting, and was clearly getting agitated. Onto us, and as i say another solid win, with everybody chipping in, pleased for Dan Thompson in Heat 10, as his 2 earlier rides were woeful, Jordan is picking up vital points which is great to see and as for Keynan, he really is finally coming to the party. But for me rider of the night was Adam Ellis, looks quick and his Team Riding was exemplary, could turn out to be a very key signing. Emil,Scotty and Bomber all deliverd at times when they needed to, so all in all, a good win. Now i will travel to Oxford on Thursday, and i hope Bomber has a bad meeting, all very bizarre, it's ok having guests, but maybe i'm moaning and i'm wrong, but think it's time the Doyley situation was sorted. Tom Brennan is riding for Lynn, thats 1 guest i thought would be in for us, so who knows where we will turn to for Thursday, Scotty again maybe or Blodorn, certainly wont be any out of Tai,Jack Holder,Lindgren or Bewley, won't be long before we know im sure. Roger Jacobs
Not a lot of genuine racing, with the grippy inside line providing the quickest option - as proven by random heat winners and last places. Gate 4 was the veritable graveyard, with Nicholls (Heat 3), Howarth (8), C.Holder (10), Woffinden (13), and Ellis (14) the only riders to defeat an opponent - Ellis the only one to beat both opposition riders. Sayfutdinov and Jenkins were ahead of Gilkes when Woffinden fell in Heat 4, and then Gilkes rode four solid laps to defeat Sayfutdinov in the rerun. 12+2 points in total for Gate 4, and no heat wins. 34+2 for Gate 1, including 9 heat wins. Some good riding to manoeuvre for position on the first lap, and good defensive riding - although anyone behind had to work really hard to stay on the rider ahead and mount any sort of challenge. Pickering's round the outside effort for most of Heat 14 was entertaining - I've seen videos of him doing that at Armadale with much more success. Sayfutdinov forcing his way under Howarth off bend 2, lap 3 was the only pass beyond the first lap that I recorded - although I'm one of many who thought Harris had caught Woffinden asleep on the run to the line in Heat 6. It was Sayfutdinov who took Woffinden wide on bend 4 of the final heat, with Woffinden then slowing down, shaking his left hand - so they must have clonked handlebars. Very interesting to hear Woffinden say the track was "absolutely mint" - from an entertainment point of view it was not. A good and satisfying win for the patched-up and recovering Witches.
