I think karmas caught up with him.. he’s only had a couple of poor ish meetings so far, he’s in top 3 averages in league I do believe?

Maybe you should check his polish and Grand Prix stats and come back to me with a rethink !

Pity you didn't lose with the same grace. I can only assume that most Ipswich fans had done what Tai requested by the time the medal presentations took place, as you are all quick to mention his comments on the mic but none of you seemed to spot Doyle giving double middle fingers to the Sheffield fans when he went up to collect his loser's medal.

I don’t think in foxhall Sheffield fans were getting physically abused unlike in Sheffield. That’s the reason most people despise Sheffield in general.

You get idiots at most tracks I like to think that most supporters support speedway in general.I go to Sheffield to hopefully see good close racing if we win or lose not too bothered as long as the racing is good and close with all riders getting stuck in and there’s no injuries for me the main thing is that all the teams are still there next season

A friend of mine who was a Wolverhampton fan will never go to Belle Vue again after she was verbally abused and threatened while walking out after a meeting with her 4 year old daughter. What sort of a man stoops to that level ?

To be fair I was at kings lynn supporting Ipswich and we had a couple of total dick heads infront of us who supported  Ipswich and were  giving Kenyan a hard time and swearing loudly at him.
ok he had a bad meeting but no need at all for the abuse. Bet those  two guys have never been on a speedway bike

I go to Sheffield regular and to be honest the ‘Bend 2 Barmy Army’ do go too far on many occasion with their football style chanting (which no sense a lot of the time) and that can upset some people especially if the language is a bit ‘industrial’, a bit of light hearted banter between fans is fine, hopefully the few bad eggs and any track don’t put fans travelling to these tracks

Friends of mine went to the final at Sheffield and the home support directly swore at their 7 year old daughter … not chants and banter but foul mouth verbal abuse… so much so that she feels scared to even go to Ipswich now in case an away fan scares her

Add in that Sheffield have the 3 biggest whingers in the league then I have ever right to want us to absolutely thrash them and their vile set of fans ( not all but the ones who think telling a child to eff off and shut her cakehole those morons )

So what we are saying is that away fans have had unpleasant experiences at most tracks, but for some reason everyone hates Sheffield for it. ;)

Where have they come from, only seem to have surfaced last few seasons,it used to be the tigers on tour lot that got a decent mention, but this lot are a bit over the top with the football style chanting I have to agree, and all this " Yorkshire,Yorkshire rubbish and some other stuff I don't understand, must have gotten fed up with the football.

A few of them seem to be Bradford lads so might have just started coming once Sheffield came back into the top league as can’t remember them pre 2019 when last in Championship, hopefully at some point the stupid chanting dies down as eventually it will give the club a bad name, whereas the Tigers on Tour guys are really sound and knowledgeable fans, I’ve stood with the likes of Chris and Dave on away trips previously who just support the team

Personally I don't mind the chanting etc.Its when they come out with all the swearing that gets me.Dont get me wrong I swear a bit,but last year at Lynn one of the women in that group was constantly at it,she was a bit worse for wear though, although that isn't an excuse.

I could tell tales of arguments at speedway but 99% of fans are just genuine speedway fans. As for the bend 2 barmy army (about 6 people) they popped up after Covid I don’t think they’ve been going for long.

The rivalry between Ipswich and Sheffield is down to both having strong teams and last years final was mostly respectful

Whilst they have some great supporters whom I’m still friends with today there is a vile element within some Aces fans who are verbally very aggressive and threatening.

Probably because their football is about getting relegated after promotion haha.

It was hammering down in BSE until about 10am, but has now stopped and is looking a tiny bit brighter... If it keeps improving here, hopefully it heads east!

The chanting is definitely out of place at a speedway meeting and when there's just one set doing it,it sounds even more ludicrous.
