Ipswich v Sheffield Monday 10th June

Recommended Posts

I’d like to think we can see them off as we have Bomber guesting again and the Holder brothers are big girls blouses when it comes to Foxhall and Tai is badly out of form

Edwards tends to go well at our place as does Josh so could be tight

Cant see anything other than an Ipswich win after Sheffield's performance at KL last night.

Sheffield will be hoping that Tai just had a bad night at the office last night because they're in big trouble if the GP/Ekstraliga version of Tai shows up in Britain on a regular basis.

C. Holder is normally mentally beaten before the meeting even starts around Foxhall.

strange one with this being on a Monday not usual race night for Ipswich would have thought for eurosport? but no nothing  for it on TV? so why Monday then ?

Because the Sheffield stadium availability is a nightmare and Ipswich have given up their priority for thd good if the sport

After their antics and Tais beautiful words about the witches I’d love to see them go home with nothing at all. The difference between how we reacted when we won the cup at home vs how they reacted when they won the title at home basically shows the maturity of the teams. We won with grace. They won with arrogance. I hope Tai gets the reaction from the crowd he deserves. I think karma this season has caught up with him.

I think karmas caught up with him.. he’s only had a couple of poor ish meetings so far, he’s in top 3 averages in league I do believe?

It’s a rearranged fixture from a prior rain off

Pity you didn't lose with the same grace. I can only assume that most Ipswich fans had done what Tai requested by the time the medal presentations took place, as you are all quick to mention his comments on the mic but none of you seemed to spot Doyle giving double middle fingers to the Sheffield fans when he went up to collect his loser's medal.

About 20 minutes later ? That makes it ok then does it ?

It was nothing to do with what Tai said. It was in response to a bit of light hearted booing from Tigers fans.

Massive uproar on here because Tai swore and kids might have heard it, but it's fine to make offensive gestures that were far more likely to be seen by kids.

I know there is a general dislike of Tai on here, but the double standards are laughable at times.

Much like when Adam Ellis gave the middle finger at the Aces fans at Sheffield in final 2022? Woffinden as history of obscene  language he can't  do a interview without  swearing he also gave the V at Aces fans in 2017 final and not forgetting last season  throwing a supporter on floor  in Poland breaking  his arm which resulted in a fine for him first my case and no doubt there will be to come from him :nono:

Yes there is a bit of Dis Taste towards Tai after last Season's antics from those Witches fans that travelled, and clearly heard what he said.

But that's Sport at the Top level and as its been said on here by so many, that is Tai Woofinden, it's how he is.

That has gone from Last Season, Sheffield won it coz we couldn't defend an 18 Point Lead and they are the current Champions.

But we go into Monday with a Decent Septet, all be it with 2 Guests, but Good Guests to give Sheffield a right tough meeting.

For me it will be close,as it should be from 2 of the top 3 teams in the League this season.

And I would also think our Big Change at the top is close to being announced.

So many Names been mentioned, and the wait can be painful for us Fans, but knowing how hard Chris and Ritchie are working to get the right man in, I'm sure the wait will be worth it.

Tai is badly out of form on the SGP and Polish scene but in the UK he is picking up decent points in most meetings apart from Kings Lynn on Thurs. Although he may not go as well as Musielak did last year around Foxhall.

Tai Woffinden 9 43 99 4 9.21 9.58 27 6 6 2 2 0
Jack Holder 8 35 76 6 8.69 9.37 17 10 5 1 1 1

Chris Holder

9 41 86 4 8.39 8.78 21 10 3 4 2
