Ricky Ashworth didn't hit the fence he hit his head on the track, Zaine Kennedy went through the backstraight fence (No track has air or polyfoam fences down their straights). You really need to research before spouting crap on forum's

He needs to be dropped for his own good, he’s shut off going into 1st bends for weeks now, everyone can see it. It’s a shame, as he was fantastic H&A to Workington in March. I would personally give Max Perry the opportunity, as the 3 times they’ve faced each other, Perry has beat him, simple as that really.

To be fair to Hodder he started the season pretty well but did he not crash at Glasgow? Although someone will correct me if I’m wrong and a big crash in Poland I think they’ve dented his confidence and with barely any national league meetings to get his confidence back he’s struggling.

Back to the match, even without Rory's injury, Berwick were sadly lacking.  Kerr was fine and Kemp did ok but, the remainder were dire.  Gilkes is off form , Hume had a poor one and Starke spent too much time on his rear. For us another, very solid performance all around.

It just needs some properly absorbant fencing in front of the armco, the foam fence just isn't absorbant enough when backed to a rigid structure... not to mention the crappy gym mats placed between the armco and the foam barrier!!!

You shouldn't be sustaining the injuries Schlein has by colliding with a foam or air fence... end of!

We all know Speedway riders are tough, but there comes a point after loads of falls, fractures etc, that the body is more prone to failing.

The Scunthorpe "safety" fence is not on his side, to put the blame on Schlein's body is pretty low! :icon_smile_clown:

It is a general comment, that older bones are more prone to fracture and its a fact take longer to heal, but you see every comment as cannon fodder.

You sound like a tory trying to defend Rishi Sunak!
