BOBBATH
Obscure names to some but they were around in the mid sixties . I recall Leo and maybe Lew appearing in WCQR in I think 1964-perhaps at Rye House or maybe later at Brafield. Perhaps they drifted out of the sport !! Freddie think rode for B.V. at about the same time-was he the brother of Bernie Collier? Are any of these gents still with us, is anybody in Forumland still in touch with any of them?? chunky
Firstly, I wouldn't think that Fred and Bernie Collier were brothers; Bernie was born 18 years after Fred. Sadly, Fred passed away in June 2012. He was 70. My dad actually saw Lew Grepp ride! It was Good Friday, 1958, when Belle Vue visited Plough Lane. Lew fell in his first ride, and though he had a few rides later in the year, it was effectively a career-ending crash. Lew passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 91. He has been suffering from Parkinson's disease for a number of years. Leo passed away March 4, 2004, at the age of 76.

Millwall player Pat Brady was 20 years older than his more famous brother Liam. His other brother Ray, who also played for the Lions was a year younger than Pat. They also had another brother, Frank who was older than Liam, but younger than Pat and Ray I don't know if the Colliers are brothers or not, but i have been waiting for a long time to put this on a thread I thank you

Beirao
Leo Ramm had second half rides at Glasgow,, Edinburgh and Cowdenbeath in 1965 and I believe was subsequently a taxi driver in Edinburgh. Edited June 6 by Beirao
