scunny1
RR is ok until someone gets injured, then it leaves the teams very exposed.

Not an issue when it's the number 2 out injured, every top 5 rider can get an extra ride, so the reserves have 6 spare heats if needed to cover a second injury, which might not even be needed when using IRR. If a team is opperating R/R can they also use IRR & if a rider has taken an R/R ride can they still take an IRR as well? I think a home win by 14 points

[Edit: pedant point you could take a rider out of a programmed ride so he can have all four of the 'additional' rides] Edited June 5 by arnieg
Wobblywheel
Why on earth is the Oxford track so incredibly dry and dusty again?

Bojangles
Another great meeting last night - racing wise, if not score wise. Scunthorpe didn't put up much of a fight, and expected more from the likes of Connor Mountain after his performance for Belle Vue when they visited. Simon Lambert was woeful. For Oxford Cameron Heeps looks rejuvenated this year, just need him to pick up his away form - and Ashton Boughen seems to have found his feet the last few weeks. His pass in heat 14 was sensational.

IronScorpion
After reading the reports of yesterdays 2 meetings, could Oxford had been wary of our solid scoring at Berwick replicated in this meeting, allowing Masters & Nicholls the heat wins while we picked up the other points. & had a practice/set up session where they nailed their early meeting form to get the big lead. Similarly at Poole, they were caught out by the slick, dry track, devoured of dirt when a blue racing line appeared leading to a tight meeting. Just don't think Scunthorpe are that good, sorry. Oxford vs Poole for the title this year. Becoming a nice little rivarly.
