Can someone confirm please since the rulebook isn't clear.

Dan Gilkes finished 2024 in the championship on a 4.6 average.

Having not turned a wheel at championship level and having a premiership average of 3.71, in order to get back into the championship the heads at Castle grey Skull used the 1.5 multiplier to give him a converted average of 5.56?

Would this also mean that any rider that misses all or part of the season at championship level would be subjected to the 1.5 rule?

Casing point Anders Rowe, who's calling out for a championship ride who finished on a 5.95 (massively inflated)in 2023, but didn't get a team for 2024 now sits with a premiership average of 4.3 which with the 1.5 multiplier gets a 6.45.

I may have got massively mistaken with this but the Gilkes numbers point this way.

Yeah think been rule for a while now if don't start season in a league can only go back to it on converted average. Assume worked same with cookie when signed for Oxford used his champ converted rather than his previous seasons prem version.

If a rider didn't start the season in a Championship team but rode in Premiership then they come in on the 1.5 multiplayer.

I.e Basso 6.57 would be 9.85

Dan finished 2023 on a 4.6.

The rules state that the average used if ridden in both leagues then the appropriate league average is used.

If you start a season in 1 league & achieve a CMA(not assessed or re-assessed) then the 1.5 multiplier/divider is used. Works both ways depending on the league moving to(& guesting).

Kai Huckenbeck comes in on a 8.5

I’m sure we could manage to get him on a 5.

Think they call it the Tarrasenko rule.

Is Anders calling out for a Championship ride ? . I believe he agreed to sign for Worky but then gave back word. Maybe he also expected Poland to come calling ???
