Gavan
As an Ipswich fan congrats to Kings Lynn ….. any team that beats a team with the Holder brothers and Tai in I’m pleased for as they aren’t exactly my favourite people lol If Tobi is back then you guys may pull it off and hope you do
KIRKYLANE
Some good racing tonight. painful to listen to Tai rabbiting on…. He has passed his best and is on a downward slope. Hope Lynn have done enough to get through
Bagpuss
Well that was a long overdue positive evening at the AFA, and at last the Sheffield hoodoo is broken. Will a ten point lead be enough? Probably not but at least we have something to hold on too. Klindt and Wojdylo were excellent and the rest of the top five were solid in support. Reserves a little disappointing but not through any lack of effort. Get Kvech in and Museilak back (and stay clear of injuries) and we look like we might be able to start winning meetings more regularly
tellboy
I think many King's Lynn fans were expecting a drubbing tonight before the match, including myself. The top 5 though I thought were excellent for Lynn.Just thought J.Holder would have gone through the card tonight, followed closely by Woffy, but the Lynn boys got their heads down and made sure they didn't.Just a shame our reserves weren't on it like they have been pretty much all season. Would have liked a 16-18pt lead, don't think 10pts will be anywhere near enough. Wouldnt it be great though if we could manage it and set up an East Anglian final against the Witches.
GeneralMelchett
Good result for KL must boost their confidence, as someone who attended their 58-32 thrashing at Owlerton this season I hope / expect they will do better - but now what are the odds on a KL V Ipswich final I wonder! I think Sheffield will still progress to repeat last years but this isn't over yet! Edited June 6 by GeneralMelchett

As far as I'm concerned he is more deserving of his place than Lebedevs, Bewley, Woffinden, Huckenbeck & Kubera, who all required wild cards after not qualifying. I don't expect much from Kvech for Lynn, think his 6.00 assessed average is realistic. But putting Wojdylo at reserve should be a trump card.
4BenMoran
Woffinden looked to be going through the motions again on another away track tonight, he’s definitely getting a ‘gating tart’ name for himself. Wonder if he’ll call himself out for under performing? 1

As you say, if he can score his assessed average consistently then that’s all that can be asked of him. Anything extra is a bonus. Getting Paddy back at reserve was key, but as tonight proved riding in the hardest position in the 1-7 proved he can mix it. Unsure how Rob will line them up, but if it was me I’d go as follows: 1. TM 2. NKI 3. JK 4. BB 5. NK 6. PW 7. AR

Wofinden is so full of ink and hair dye that he can't keep up these days ........ his time in the GP's is coming to an end and he's back in UK to pick up some "easy" money (although it didn't pan out that way last night)!!
Wollyhat
Dissapointed with my trip to K.L. last night. I know the track was the same for both sides but I can't remember seeing the track with so few passing lanes. Where I was stood at the exit of bend 2 after the first few heats the riders were having to back out of the throtle to avoid drifting into the fence a also to get the bike into the back straight. We were out gated , and this is no excuse, I think we were robbed of a spectical of the Sheffiels boys trying to get back on terms. The best team on the night won, but as a spectical the spectaters lost. I just hope the racing is closer at Sheffield in the return match whichever team wins ( but do hope it's Sheffield) Looking forward to visiting A.F.E again later in the season. kelvinht
Good all round performance by the stars tonight. Even Anders and Simon put in good shifts, they were always there or there abouts and in the mix for points. Captains role by Klindt. Why we ever let him go i will never know, but thanks to Oxford for letting us have him back! Richard Lawson excellent choice of guest - another rider we should have never let go, always gives 100%. Good to see Patryk knocking in good points from no. 2 and NKI and Basso scoring as they should Kept waiting for Sheffield heat leaders to step up but they never did. With Kvech in the team what are the chances of a Srars v Ippo final...

Generally the racing hasn't been as good at Lynn over the last twenty odd years due to the high clay content of the material used but the stock cars pay the big bills so that won't change. What I would say though is that when the home side gates so well and the away team is struggling with set ups all night then you won't get the best racing. Last night was average, we've seen better and worse at Lynn. Also no R/R, changes, crashes or false starts meant it was all done in an hour and twenty minutes which I think is about right for a speedway meeting. Nice to be home well before 10pm.
THE DEAN MACHINE
I thought the track looked a lot slicker last night than in previous seasons, the dirt was lighter in colour and even at the start of meeting riders were not having their arms pulled out with the usual 100% grip surface, didn’t seem to improve racing though although I don’t think it’s down to the track, I believe it’s down to the engine/tyre configuration
