I suppose all Chris and Ritchie can do now is grin and bear it. By the way are all the flights from Poland on time today? Luckily Chris Louis don't think like the promoter up the rd at Lynn coz if he did he'd of pulled a fast one and got the meeting cancelled coz of rider shortage, which tbf would've been a valid reason with the side being put out tonight, Scotty, Blodorn and R/R is bad enough as it is instead of Doyle, Ellis and King, and no disrespect to young Hodder but he ain't a patch on Dan with the form he's been in this season, Ipi only hope is they keep it as close as poss for the return leg on Thurs which then again will be a guest fest

It pretty much worked well in 2023 but plans have badly come unstuck in 2024 after a bright start and that unfortunately is speedway, you always need a fair slice of luck in this game and at the moment you haven’t got it.
Hawk127
Look at positively, if Emil has six rides and wins all six that is 18, Scott throws in a couple of wins and two seconds that gives Ipswich 28 so if the other four can score 10 between them that gives you 38 and a fighting chance in the second leg or maybe I am being just too optimistic. Good luck to the riders and hopefully no more injuries, ailments or any other mishaps.

I don't know the rules, but once a programme has been printed, I don't think teams should be allowed to alter the riding order. Besides with all riders able to get an r/r outing no harm with r/r being at 5. If Pawlicki is a star reserve he could replace riders in any heat (except Flint in heat 8) doesn't need a r/r outing to get 7 rides. Edit - it shouldn't matter if you have an on the ball team manager, ready to make changes depending who is on form. Yes, Dan T is a rising star, but he is in the main body of the team based on his average - therefore logic (and I know this is where my comment falls down with british speedway) suggests that you would go like for like... If you have to get a guest for a rising star, at least let the club put them at number 7 and have said club temporarily re-jig their line up, so you push one of the current reserves back into the main body of the team... Poor Freddy riding at number 2, especially with R/R at number 1!? That's not a bad idea, an RS reserve to go at 7. I'd support that.

What's the isolation rules, just hope the rest of the team aren't affected. No isolation rules anymore.. Treated as a cold, flu etc.. Just a normal ailment nowadays, some feel OK with it and can carry on, some feel bad.. Time of work is "normal sick" too, no dispensation for it.. Bash
The track is so dry tonight, did they not water it today? Last week with the natural watering it was very good with lots of different lines but the outside is non existent tonight.

J-D
Like the Leicester meeting last week, a bit of a painful watch. I wish Birmingham all the best but they need to get some grip into that track.

ouch
Scores nice and close so it’s a good meeting by UK standards. Fingers crossed for a last heat decider to make it a classic. Not my cup of tea but I’m old school.
