Not entirely sure what we were expecting this year you song the same issues as last year and expect a better result which was never going to happen. Then we’ve weakened ourselves at reserve to add to our problems. We talk a good game and don’t back it up cause if we did we’d shift a couple on and make some changes. Bojangles
Scott Nicholls' ride in heat 15 was a thing of beauty. Don't know how he keeps doing it. What a legend. Edited May 29 by Bojangles 4

Started the season well but we all knew this was coming when the team was built. We’ve been too loyal to certain riders who should never have been back this year. For all the people who want changes for any team, I wonder where you think the riders are going to come from ? The better riders decided not to do this league, others riders more interested in foreign leagues, so probably won't do the uk

Had to weaken as they were above the points limit. The riders they would've expected to step up in a weaker league haven't done it though.

Indeed, his June average would be 7.12. 1) doesn't fit in place of Kye or Paco. 2) would he even outscore them enough if they had to make a second change & bring in a 2.00 rider for Coles to make it fit? Mick Bratley
I went to this meeting tonight, have to say I was impressed with the presentation and the running of the meeting, with some decent racing. Good healthy crowd, light years away from the crowds in the early 2000s. I don’t how the Oxford promotion are sustaining running in three leagues, I thought it was madness when announced, but it looks like they are doing just fine, kudos to them! Whatever their secret is, it needs to be bottled and sold on to every U.K. Speedway club. Nice touch with the DJ on the centre green, I left feeling very impressed and just a little bit jealous. I hope they win the Championship.
Technik
8 hours ago, Mr Blobby said: Another nonsense refereeing decision, heeps as in heat 1 goes straight left off the start what’s young James supposed to do when someone rode right into the side of you. Refs this season have been the worst I’ve seen them for some time. It’s like they’ve never watch speedway before. On the BSPA website there is a picture of the start of Ht 1. It clearly shows Fredriksen (Y) of gate 1 with his front wheel turned to the right whilst Heeps (B) in 2 is straight. My view is that Fredriksen lifted all the way to the turn & was not in full control went past his turning point & crossed other riders path causing the crash.
topaz325
Paco was the best Edinburgh rider when they rode recently at Workington , admittedly it was a depleted side however I was impressed by him.

One swallow does not a summer make. Our top 5 is more or less the same as last year. Sedgy coming in for Cookie. We had a lot of illness and injuries last year and missed Josh so badly. What made people think that we could challenge top 4 this season?

Some pretty positive results in the BSN Series perhaps? It was a good start to the season, and I certainly thought Edinburgh had improved. A draw with Glasgow and you're in the semi-finals, which is more than can be said of Oxford. Edited May 30 by BackInTheDHSS
