Glasgow v Redcar CL 24/5/24@7-30

Recommended Posts

After a glorious Friday last week with no speedway , its back to the wet stuff on the run up to this encounter .

We will be along the normal lines , while I believe the Bears are using Danyon Hume and Workington's young Aussie ( who's name I can't pronounce or spell ) as guests .

Also an entertaining encounter both on the track and in the terraces , when these two sides get together , more of the same tomorrow please .

This has got to be currently in the doubtful category, unless it clears up soon, and the weather forecast is wrong.

One of those things is always pretty likely, but I'm not sure it's the former.

Pity there is no stream, always enjoyed the racing at Glasgow when I’ve watched it.

It's a superb track, arguably the best in the UK, and produces fantastic racing. I love going there for meetings.

Looking out train into work this morning struggling to see how this will be on tonight. Unless the scb have permitted jet skis. Forecast bit better but not much drying weather about.

Nae chance this is on.

Been raining pretty much constantly for about 24 hours, and only predicted to continue.

It has changed massively, no more tight corners, multiple racing lines, racing has been the best ever so far this season, even beats Belle vue

The pictures are looking far better than I expected. The banking helps, of course, but they’ve also vastly upgraded the drainage on the inside of the track for this season all the way round, so it seems that’s working really well.
