What you have "heard" about transponder timing is nonsense.  Times at all tracks correspond accurately with old watches, when also used, with any discrepancies usually the result of human frailties on the watches.

The only track to move their start line this year (as far as I am aware) is Berwick, and of course the transponder sensors were moved too.

I can only suggest you have your "hearing" checked.......

Worked well and accurately on Saturday? So every single one of us who watched the meeting and saw Boughen beat Jenkins are all wrong, and the transponders work perfectly. Have you seen the race? It wasn’t even close.

That was the ref getting it wrong... just like he did in heat 4, no transponders needed, just eyes :unsure:
