GeneralMelchett
Let’s hope JD heals quickly - having both him and Danny absent will be tough - however well done to young TomB - brilliant guest last night - if guests are needed get him booked in again! Both he and Scott should maybe be fitted for race suits!

bigcatdiary
1 hour ago, tellboy said: Agree about the program situation. Why don't they just save the program's until the said team comes to Lynn.If you need an insert because the team line up has changed then so be it.You would much rather have a Sheffield insert in a month old Sheffield program than an Ipswich insert in a month old Sheffield program.I don't know who makes the decision on these matters. To be honest it’s been mentioned several times, programme buyers hate it, why they don’t just save it and just have a race day update for when the team returns is beyond me, especially when we have the fact of the same 6 teams 2 or 3 times a season.

Very unlucky but hopefully that is a good prognosis, a broken arm would take longer, having had broken ribs myself, he will be in pain for a few weeks but recover quicker than a broken arm. hasta la vista
Realistically it's Buster running it or it closes and not because he won't hand it over etc. There is no money in the sport now and crowds of 1200 don't break even anymore. Unless you are using the losses to offset taxes from another business you are just going to lose your personal money. Most business owners aren't going to bother doing this with speedway anyway, as it's so much aggravation and there are easier ways, why would you? The clubs that run now are all basically funded by rich businessmen who are speedway enthusiasts. Aren't many of those around. There is not a list of people queuing up to take over or run a UK speedway club.

And then drive through the industrial estate. is this a new policy for this season or just last night ? Been that way all season, absolute pain in the a**e getting out now, and with constant A47 closures towards Norwich not a fun drive home.

Would have been helpful if there were some signs up or an announcement over the PA telling us the new arrangement.

stevehone
but if Buster could reduce his outlay with championship, race on Wednesdays again, and have someone to run the day to day of the club, is it not worth a try? or would the PL block it due to numbers? bigcatdiary
18 hours ago, stevehone said: time Kings Lynn went championship, try to bring a feel good factor back to the club To be brutally honest Lynn are and have been very successful at Championship level, their crowds support it so I can only assume it’s TV money that keeps them in the Premiership, but running in the top league on a Championship budget is clearly affecting support, supporters want to see a competitive team at least, watching them struggle to even win at home every season isn’t helping anyone.
