Poole Pirates Vs Plymouth Gladiators Bsn now 24 th May

Recommended Posts

If Plymouth using a guest Tate or Paco best options imo. Although Berwick and Redcar are at Poole after Plymouth, so could look to one of their riders like Kemp/Hume or Bailey/Edwards. As they might want the practice.

Sure I read Edwards making his comeback for Sheffield but might be an idea to test it the day before? Just a thought.

Edit - actually can't use Tate lol. His average gone up to 6.96 on the 18th May!

Did he coast round to beat Flint in Heat 4

No, but would you sign a rider who could only manage one competitive ride?

Garry May only needs one meeting out of Covatti who then goes AWOL and Plymouth get a full facility (albeit on a temporary basis under the 2024 regulations).

Local paper (Echo) says Covatti rides at 1 tomorrow for Plymouth - assuming it's not rained off!?

Copied & pasted off Poole Pirates website (nothing on Plymouth website):

That may have been posted before he pulled out of his meeting though..

Although if he tries to ride at Poole and pulls out are Plymouth allowed IRR if not a new injury?

Edit - not that it will matter as doesn't look like it will go ahead currently looking at met office which has rain from 3-7pm.

4th time lucky maybe?

Surely an early call off would be sensible if the forecast is as bad as you're saying

Forcast is showery for most of the day, but watching the BBC weather we may get away with it, depends if it feels like dumping it on Poole .:nono:

Looking forward to another speedway night at WINborne Road and getting behind the Pirates :t:

I see nothing else than a Pirates win and aggregate win to advance to the semi's.

The Gladiators can be difficult to shake off though but the boys are more on it from the start at home at the moment which is what we will need.

C'mon the Boyzzzz

NID :t:

Another £150 wasted, fool & their money….

I'm sure Poole will do their utmost to further assist Plymouth by delaying the fixture until Covatti is fully fit!!;);)

You would say that, personally wasted time and travel costs could be avoided  maybe Poole will think of the fans for a change

Nothing to do with me , im only relaying what ive seen forcast wise on the TV and various weather platforms.  You know how inconsistant
it can be, so its a case of keeping an eye on the websites or via friends.

I wasn't quoting you, I was quoting Clive. Yes it's difficult to make the correct call weather is hard to predict hopefully they make the right decision

Didn't Poole get crusified for calling the corresponding fixture off at the beginning of the month

Yes because they called it off to late and fans had already travelled. Doh!
