kelvinht
How come there is a GP qualifier on a Monday night? I thought Monday was protected for UK, even more important as the Poles have half a finger in the pie for Thursdays?

There has been a GP Qualifier in Germany on this Monday for years, it's bank holiday in Germany. Blordorn asked to be moved to different qualifier so didn't miss Belle Vue

rearingtogo
TITANIC NEWS UPDATE:- It has just been announced that after 112 years of the sinking of the cruise liner, undersea explorers were flabbergasted to find that the swimming pool onboard still contained water. NOW HOW REMARKABLE IS THAT!

No normally each country gets so many places split over different qualifiers so up to the country which rider goes where.

This is a rearranged fixture, originally called off in April, so this would have been a clear night in Britain
szkocjasid
Fantastic effort by Lynn to score 42 points. There reserves doing what they should be capable of. But surprised by the heat 15 selection, picking Wojdylo means he was the second best rider in the team - so why wasn't he given any extra rides on the night? Maybe just sharing the rides out once the match was lost? Certainly a positive performance for Lynn ahead of the rest of the season.

Well the 2 best riders on the night for us were Niels and MPT, so should have been those 2 in ht 15 tbh... But we had already lost
Teromaafan
Very respectable performance from the Stars based on my reading of the updates site. Probably could have made more of the reserves looking at Lawson and Klindt's scores it seems? The R/R return of 3 points must be frustrating. You would expect Musielak to score about 9 points, which may have tipped the balance on the night? We'll never know of course! This showing will hopefully lift morale at Lynn considering the apparent dark cloud (the one Buster calls upon when convenient!) hanging over the club. stevebrum
Well done the Stars scoring 42 without a number one but then the Aces aren’t the team they were last season. Very respectable showing from the Stars.
gjcone44
lidsey and Kurtz, had a off night , but ben cook getting better round belle vue now. but yes nki toft and Rowe, rode well, not really a lot of pressure on belle vue tonight, and that may be why didn't perform like they can do. some good racing though. Arch Stanton
Great effort from Lynn, far better than we managed! Poor from Lawson and Klindt, excellent from the others. Just a bit more from the two mentioned and they’d have taken something. Get Musielak back and fit at #1 and it gives the fans hope of a good rest of the season.

ouch
The Aces ‘ massive home advantage is coming to the fore this year, well apart from against Sheffield in the cup,Ipswich, Oxford and Kings Lynn.

Bagpuss
Apparently we were the first side to stop BV reaching 50 at home this year in a league match so that's a pretty good effort. Frustrating that Klindt scored below his normal NSS level as we might have got a result. Edited May 21 by Bagpuss

Great effort especially with only three points coming from Musielak’s R/R rides.
