Scunny v Berwick KOC 17.05.24

Recommended Posts

Some good racing  tonight as a Scorpion I thought it was beyond us to be fair especially with Schlien, Kerr,  Kemp and Borke

but wow what a performance by the Scorpions from 1 to 7  but really pleased for Kyle and Nathan  who were class tonight

That was some effort from Scunny...  smashed it... bring on the Pirates.

Yes indeedy we Pirates are looking to get one over you Scorpions after last season's Final .

Should be a lively encounter but will Lambert be a match winner again for the Scorpions? (Hope not ;))

Really looking forward to this semi final as both teams are set up to make it an epic encounter.

Pirates on a big big mission this season and are more motivated than ever to take the glory!

C'mon the Boyzzzz  :t:

Well done to Scunthorpe on their win, they can be very proud of their efforts and best of luck in the KOC.

As for Berwick I find last nights defeat completely unacceptable, make no mistake this is on the riders and manager as they should've been able to defend an 18pt advantage, but sadly they went out on a whimper. There was much needed changes to the Berwick team for this season, sadly regularly under performing riders weren't part of those changes.

You don’t “ gate and go” around Scunny as the Bandits found out.

Or sometimes you don't gate lol

You have to hope Stuart Dickson is limping badly tonight. At least that would prove he'd kicked 7  arses hard enough to break every bone in his foot

It is called "streaming" in which more people stay at home or watch in groups.

You would geo block the stream if that was the case. There were poor crowds 10/15 years ago at Scunthorpe and there’s still no one there, thankfully Godfrey makes it work and well done to him for that.

Pouring in money from his own business, as he loves the sport

I was stood with some regulars and we were saying the crowd was quite good on Friday ?

Really? I go every meeting and thought the crowd was poor. Perhaps some thought an 18 point deficit was not going to happen and saved their money not attending. For me, it was so enjoyable watching everyone perform, I bought the stream to watch it a day later.:)

I was going to get the stream after I had finished work but surprisingly I didn't bother.:D
