Now our meeting is off I’ll be watching this. I hope Norwich do it! It’s an easy away fixture for me to get there when the mighty Toffees are in town

I do agree though that waiting until the morning of the meeting would make much more sense than calling off the day before. I'd also say that not flying riders in would make us even more uncompetitive....which leads to a wider argument that perhaps we are in the wrong league. I think he's done with the running of a speedway club. He thought he would be retired, and enjoying his retirement fund, last season. God knows if Lynn will run next season. I bet Coventry, Rye House, Eastbourne, Newport, etc wish they had a Buster. Ok I'll bite: you missed one and we don't!

rearingtogo
Genuine reason for cancelling tonight’s fixture regarding the weather forecast for rain. I can clarify it’s been pouring all day and it’s wet as a mermaids pussy. Edited May 16 by rearingtogo

Mumsie
I would imagine the concrete centre ''green'' doesn't help with drainage.

TINYS
Not rained for over 2 hours and no more rain forecast so that leaves 3 to 4 hours to work on the track. Just saying.

Yep, doesn't ought to be major issue. Drying up nicely where I am 50 miles away. If not raining at Lynn I'd have thought a good chance of getting this on. And yes, the center concrete probably doesn't help drainage Be interesting to see a photo of stadium now....

I think it was the 2022 season, maybe against Sheffield, when he worked on the track till 9pm, trying to get the meeting on, because the fans/riders etc were all there. Only to be told that the track still wasn't ridable after inspection.. Buster was well pi$$t off, and took to the mic and said he was done, and the club was for sale. I think that was the last time he has tried hard to get a meeting on with bad weather possible. i'm happy to stand corrected.
