No it would not, thanks! :nono::D

Worky did really well tonight. Plymouth is not an easy place to go to and get a win.

Especially with 4 newcomers. Good to see them proving so many of us wrong. If claus can avoid his mid/ late season dip in form could be genuine challenger's. Tomorrow be the acid test

What a god awful track. Feel sorry for anyone who made that their first time because it was an absolute snooze fest. No passing, and whoever gates is the winner.

The old northside training track was better than that.

Well done Workington well deserved strange night from barker but not taking anything away from Workington they deserved it I’ll be keeping an interesting eye on there result Tommorow because if any of Poole’s top 5 aren’t on it they could come a cropper also.

Imagine if Workington had one reserve scoring ? These two are unfortunately gonna keep dragging the team down.

Brilliant top 5 everyone doing more than there bit.

Celina is pretty much on the pace at most places but is really poor out of the starts. If she could sort that out there wouldn't be a problem.

batch telling it how it is.  straights too narrow to take different lines entering the corner so no overtaking

Awful track one of the worst I've seen in 55 years following speedway,  but a win is a win worth the 400 mile trip  on to poole 2morrow UTC

What a shambles of a club thought it would have been better this year not ten times worse embarrassed my company name is on that race suit

Unfortunately this taken off a Plymouth Facebook post  !!!!  If this team is to survive the track has to be lots better, the home fans won't keep turning up to watch this .

Yes I'm happy the comets have won away, worth the 400 mile trip to get the result. But as a speedway meeting it was very poor

Having seen a clip of Leibmann at Redcar I agree she looked fast / on the pace. But that doesn't win meetings, points do. There's no rush I guess, but Workington should certainly be prepared to make changes. Maybe 2 changes, bring in Jody Scott for Sam McGurk too?

First trip to the Coliseum,  the experience wasn't what it could have been due mainly to track dynamics, very narrow straights and entrance into bends can't really be conducive to good racing . We entered the stadium at around 5-30pm and it seemed that no track prep had been undertaken and there was no white line.  Whatever track widening had taken place during the winter can't have included widening the straights and entrance to corners, hard to explain this one really.

The delay to the start of the meeting due to what appeared to be 2 areas of concern namely entrance to turn 3 and mid bend turn 3 and 4 was lamentable as was the time taken to run the meeting.  I also fail to see the logic of riders not having early practice laps to test the theory that tracks are not raceable before loads of discussions and subsequent track work is carried out.

Can anyone explain to me why after having an interval following heat 11 we had one more heat then a grading and drenching of the track break yet no work was carried out during the interval ?.

Well done the Comets on getting the win a resolute determined performance from the top 5, it was good to see Antti and Tate adapt well to another new track .

Overall this cannot have been a good advert for speedway which I find quite sad considering the ambition to raise the profile of the sport and attract investment. BSN should consider this carefully. UTC !

Good of Craig to give Plymouth a chance in Ht 15 to make the score more respectable...

Seems to be doing "quite well" this year doesn't he? ;)

feeling sorry for b barker  . NOT .i can see craig wanting a bit of track work done to get rid of the land sponges  .  while barker was saying the track was ok. so craig /tate are in heat 1 , and barker has his first ride in ht 4 and would know if the track was okat by the 3 heat before  his first outing on  the sponge!

the white line was a joke . rolled on by a human who prob didnt give a jot if it was sraight or clear ,  needs to be a solid line that cannot be wiped out by a bike giong near it .

the hole areana was a shambles and the ground force was from the 1970s  plymouth need to move forward with this venture  , but they wont because it will take away their massive home advantage ..

pirates could/will be tougher to crack .C.O.U.M.

Workington gated well on Saturday, so if they can repeat that tonight, an away victory could well be on the cards.

Plymouth’s track is like my son’s exam results; no passes.

I should have put the Euromillions on last night.

On a serious note, that was a disgrace, wasn’t it? The sport needs clubs and tracks badly, so exceptions can be made, but this Plymouth are damaging the sport with that track.

I didn’t watch it live because I’m still scarred by the Oxford meeting at Plymouth, but I don’t think anyone could have predicted that.

Hopefully the result compensated for it, but fans of Workington - or any club - shouldn’t travel that far, then encounter such a delay. It’s unacceptable.

I watched Batchelor’s interview with BSN this morning and you could tell he was completely disillusioned by the set-up at Plymouth. That shouldn’t happen; he’s risking his safety for our entertainment.

Didn't work last night for them, did it??

Had to laugh at the updates site, when, before the meeting they were saying "Cook not up for this.  Doesn't want to know.  Doesn't want the meeting to go ahead."  Then he goes out and wins his four races!!  What would he have done if he was "up for it"?? Not knocking the Updates by any means, they do a fantastic job, it just made me chuckle!
