The forecast today for Birmingham is for light rain from 3pm, turning to heavy rain from 6pm lasting through the entire night. An early call off in these circumstances is accepted. We ALL can read a weather forecast. The difference is Chapman called off a meeting citing a poor forecast, when every one of us could see there was no rain forecast at all. It was blatantly another lie, another excuse to call off a meeting due to other reasons, probably another missing rider. He then realises he can’t use the same excuse again, neither can he use a “broken pit gate” excuse again when a couple of his team are away on Danish duty, so his latest call off is to just be honest for once and admit he’s calling it off because his Pole is missing! Said for a number of years , points should be awarded for a rain off. Would keep the teams on track to ride all their fixtures.... Hate travelling through B6 anyway !. K R O If you are going to award points for a rain off, you would have to give majority of the points to the away team so the home promotion try their hardest to keep meetings on.
