Possible rain due after 9pm gulp! if it stays dry and 15 heats are raced my prediction is 50-40 home win. Be a good one between Holder and Doyle after the very harsh move in the semi final of the gp. Jack will be out for abit of revenge. if Ipswich reserves turn up it could be very close as Thursday Gilkes and Edwards were well of the pace. Want to see them attack the track more and get out the gates sharper. Kyle Howarth has been average if not poor so far he needs a score tonight Pretty fair assessment I feel - I would say the score about the same too unless someone has a real off night or does a Craig Cook! chun
i quite fancy ipswich. ellis will have a point to prove and i think rew and jenkins are a match for the sheffield reserves. howarth seems to be having a lean spell as well. much will depend on emil bringing his a game
szkocjasid
Sheffield 44-46 Ipswich Think Douglas will be an awesome guest.
szkocjasid
Personally I don't think Ellis has a "point to prove" to Sheffield. He knows he was poor last year & wasn't unlucky to be dropped. I guess his pride will want to show he can race round Owlerton, as well as wanting to win for Ipswich, but I don't imagine there'd be an "anti-Sheffield" part of his motivation. When the tapes went up it looked like Doyle had it in reverse! It’s abysmal

Gate three at Sheffield is appalling . has been for ages now so why on earth are they incapable of sorting it out? no doubt the black arts will take over when Sheffield have a run off gate three . totally unfair if you ask me as all gates should be the same Edited May 13 by stu219
chun
shouldn’t they be getting on with it? the rain isn’t far away

r8gdp
Heat 8 should be the heat where Ipswich go in front looking good for a 5/1 Sheffield need Howarth and Gilkes to ride a lot better if they are going to get something out of this meeting Meeting going a similar way to last Thursday but Ipswich do have a better top 2 in Emil and Doyle
emilali
Remember when Sheffield was a good track! Absolutely abysmal this. How they can have such lob sided gates is just pathetic.
