Normski
Bandits take on Redcar, hoping to bounce back from last weeks home defeat against Poole. For the Bandits Richard Lawson continues to guest for the injured Lewi Kerr, whilst for the Bears Ben Barker steps in for the injured Danny King with Dan Thompson replacing former Bandit Jonas Knudsen who has been called up by his Polish club. Been great weather wise up here so hopefully we will see a good meeting. Prediction 49-41 to Berwick.
lukeellis
Well Norman, nobody has added to your post, so here goes.Coming up today for a day and night out in Berwick with the kids, our usual yearly visit.Thankfully catching up with you and Kenny is always enjoyable because think we will be well beaten, not enjoying following the Bears at the moment.See you in the B and G !!

Bandits4eva
I'm taking nothing for granted here. Redcar truly are a bogey team for us so we will need to ensure no complacency to get the job done.

The way Dan is going this season he should be an upgrade on Jonas.

Dan is definitely a big upgrade on Jones around Shielfield and is in superb form this season seems to have moved up a level .

tweedcider
This was never going to be a foregone conclusion, full marks to Redcar for pushing all the way. Prior to Dicksons arrival, Bandits heads would have been down and we would have lost tonight.
geoff100
To my mind lawson riding at berwick 3rd week in a row, does 8 day rule not apply,as a bandit fan how you feel him beating u last week but winning this week?

No. The only thing he can't do is guest for the opposition next week, but can guest for the home team as many times in a row he likes/he's wanted.

Yes Lawson did well, paid 14 from 5 rides. 8 day doesnt apply as he is riding for the home team. I would think Berwjck fans would be cheering him tonight. I understand it does apply if riding at other positions
Shadders
Racing wasn't great tonight, but we’ve been spoilt over the past few weeks. Great to see an old Rye House rider weighing in with a very good score. Jason Edwards very lucky to escape without serious injury after a ruthless shove from Rory Schlein. BacktrackBandit
Great win for the Bandits, never in doubt, Redcar lucky Jonas pretended he had polish commitments

I'm sure the Berwick promotion & fans would be delighted with Lawson. They're not gonna spite themselves by not picking such an in form rider just because he beat them last week Edited May 12 by szkocjasid

Not a problem with him riding for Berwick tonight, or any other night when he's available, surely the home team is entitled to every advantage they can get I'm sure any visiting team would be quite happy to book him if the needed a guest and he was free and able to ride for them
Arch Stanton
Another good night for Dan. One to watch in the years to come I think, has every chance and certainly heading in the right direction. Easy to forget he’s just turned 20 only a couple of weeks ago as well. Bet a few clubs will be kicking themselves for not picking him up during the winter on 4.86! Fair play to Plymouth for pulling the trigger. Edited May 12 by Arch Stanton

Agree with you about the racing but being a Berwick fan great to get a win and the bonus point,if that was last season probably would have lost it.

Very much going the right way, has looked very stylish and fast this season.
