Is paracetamol that strong?

I've no knowledge of what Lee may or may not have taken, or eden what he says, so this isn't any comment on that, but Night Nurse contains Promethazine, which causes drowsiness.

It's that kind of thing that can make medicines a minefield, because clearly anything that could have that kind of effect would be a potential concern.

We should find out more details tomorrow. RE: timing, it's possible Lee was offered an earlier date, but I don't know. You would think he would have been offered a hearing within the initial 30 day window, but speedway isn't always straightforward!

Promethazine isnt actually on the prohibited drug list from WADA though.  As you say though, night nurse can cause drowsiness which causes its own problems!

Good to see the SCB reporting when riders aren't drugs cheats.

On Sunday 12th May 2024 the Racoo Anti - Doping Team attended the Leicester Cubs v Belle Vue Colts National League fixture where two riders from each team were randomly selected and tested.

All four riders tested produced a negative result.

Just now, Gordon Pairman said:

Plus two grand fine and need to be retested before getting his licence back. Will he bother?

Unfortunate as he was a good showman, no mentioned substance this time.
