Tigers v Aces KO Cup 2nd leg

Should have stayed at home and watched the washing go round going off what weve witnessed so far. Belle Vue running too many last places at the moment.

Why didn't Lemon swap Mountain for Bailey in heat 14? That could be the difference.

A slightly dull meeting until  about heats 11/ 12 then it all came to life - it was always possible that Jack and Tai would get advantages in heats 13 and 15 but the key one was Josh Pickering passing Ben Cook to win ht14 and Jason keeping that third place!

Best I’ve seen Bewley ride at Owlerton too!

The processional racing, if you are a fan of that fair play to you

Tonight’s race times at Sheffield were on par with Peter Carr’s Sheffield track record in 1985 (62 seconds )  in heat 2 the winning time was the same as Chris Morton’s Sheffield track record in 1977 ( 64 seconds ) progress eh

There’s many things we could point out over the 2 legs, but we didn’t lose on aggregate. Sheffield won 1 race to win it having the advantage of being at home for that 1 race and choice of gates.

1st meeting of the season for me enjoyed it some good close hard racing score close right up to the end.heat 9 felt for Mountain made a great start in the lead Bewley passed him and went and for the rest of the race had holder and Pickering all over his back wheel losing out on the last bend the lad worked his socks off and finished last .Heat 13 3 GP riders going at it for 4 laps riding so close great to watch. Heat 15 the same Woffinden and jack team riding with Dan right on their back wheels great stuff well done to all the riders

Think your number 1 scored poorly over both legs didn’t help

enjoyed the ride going over , we did a lot better than expected so to lose like we did was frustrating, didn't like the ride coming back in the dark with these bloody led car headlights flashing in your eyes really pissed me off .

Borefest for most of the meeting. Only came alive after Pickos superb team ride to block mountain and allow Holder to up on the line for a point. Dont think the track was prepared for passing. Probably due to the stock cars last week. Gate 3 is a total graveyard   If your not a GP rider then your basically going to run a last. I think Belle Vue rode better as a team and were unlucky on the night but that’s speedway. When you need your top boys to come good they did their job.
