I got an email at 17:34 advising it was off- the same time it was posted on Facebook.

Looks like they're as quick to refund the tickets as they were at announcing that it was off.  Don't waste time acknowledging my email when I requested a refund, just give me my money back. At this rate my statement will have been issued without the credit and I'll have to wait another month before I get my money.  Very disappointed in you Oxford. If you insist on online sales only, then refund where necessary as quickly as you charge the supporters.  It's bad enough that you charge an additional premium when supporters hold back because of an iffy weather forecast, they have to pay more on the day of the event (why)? and are then kept waiting for their refund.

When did you actually request the money back? I requested the following day, got a response the day after that and the money was back in my account within 5 days. Did you email sales@oxfordspeedway.club?

I emailed sales@oxfordspeedway.club on the Monday night and the money was back in my account on Thursday 9th. Have you chased it up? I've had to wait a lot longer in the past when waiting for a refund from Belle Vue although on another occasion they were quicker.

Thank you.  I did email on the Tuesday at the address that you mentioned and it reached my credit card statement this Tuesday, so the luck of the draw in how they process the refunds.
