But we shouldn’t have to use a frigging guest, Wojdylo is 100% fit

and 100% unavailable as known for at least the past four weeks!

League points deduction should be the penalty it stop this nonsense instantly an example needs to be set or others will call meetings off just like KL when riders are missing . .

But Chapman thinks more about cash than  caring about where his team finishes in the league, so deducting points is not a particular deterrent.. The more equitable punishment would be a significant financial penalty i.e. hit him in the pocket which will make him think twice before trying to pull similar stunts again.

Many riders have missed matches in years gone by due to compulsory returns, this is nothing new... Coventry had to ride in a play off semi (I think) without Hamill, Hancock & Janniro...

And if course it was against the rules to postpone this coming Thursdays match, you may not like it but rules is rules

I seem to recall that semi final was at Monmore Green..  Coventry requested a postponement , & stated what they considered justifiable reasons why they felt that should happen.

The reply was quite simply" you turn up or else".

The ultimate punishment would be Ostrow withdrawing Musielak's starting permission for British racing.

I hope it happens, That way Buster would have nowhere to turn to and his hand will be forced to run meetings with R/R or a Guest at No.1.

He's a cheat plain and simple, He's the type of a guy who'd try and rearrange a meeting on a date where the away team is missing 2+ riders.

If he cant afford to run Speedway unless everything is pitch perfect then maybe he should've taken a walk a year or two ago by selling Peterborough and King's Lynn to Michael Tomalin and Alex Brady instead he chose to have a fallout with both of them.

So Speedway “fans” would rather King’s Lynn lose thousands of pounds by fielding an understrength team and getting a poor crowd on the night plus poor crowds in future and potentially not running next season… absolutely piss poor from the British Speedway “community”

The BSPL have finally grown a set.

Just get Buster out of this sport ASAP! Send the clown packing for good as far away as possible.

And that will be the end of another track. Buster doesn’t want to promote any more, especially after the Sheffield mess a few years ago. He’ll shut up shop just like Dugards have done  to speedway at Eastbourne and just take the money from the cars. There will be no place for bikes any more at Saddlebow Road. Buster is determined that speedway will no longer be a drain on his bank balance. He knows without TM and PW the crowd will not cover costs. Last season crowds were dire at times and Buster won’t keep putting his hand in his pocket. At least many on here will be happy. Premiership a 3TT in 2026?

So its okay to break the rules then. At which point do we say that all rules can be ignored because we might lose a club. In all sports there are rules which clubs must adhere too, so speedway should not be the exception. All  this low crowds is a bluff, Peterborough had a very poor last 2 seasons but still had very good crowds because they supported through thick and thin.

So basically the BSPL said don’t postpone it and Buster carried on anyway.

or the BSPL grudgingly accepted but someone complained to the SCB

MEETING OFF.

Buster refusing to run again.

The sooner that guy is put out to dry the better.

I roundly agree with him..

(For once)...:D

It would be no more than a Stars Select..

You either want this sport to be taken seriously, so it can grow, or you don't...

More power to Phil's elbow..

Noticeable too how the 28 day "let's do horses for courses and improve our team" facilities have become stop gap signings..

Little things, but from those small acorns etc, etc..

2 riders missing, they make it sound like over half the team is missing.

Weren’t Wolves made to go to Sheffield last year with 4 riders missing eventually rained off.

Not half,

42.86%....

The real outrage is that this seems to be the prerogative of the home team. Visitors are frequently two riders short and nobody bats an eyelid.

I imagine Buster will end up running twice a week with 3+ guests in early September in order to fit fixtures in as he'll probably cancel every week now on the basis that Ben Basso's a mechanic down or the start Marshall is ill.

Away teams regularly turn up with RR and Guests..

As it isn't their money to be earned..

The home team need to be strong, (hence they even get extra % for guests)..

I think this statement on the Lion's website makes interesting reading!

LEICESTER’S next ROWE Motor Oil Premiership fixture at King’s Lynn this Thursday (May 9) has been postponed.

The match has been called off by the home club due to the fact that Polish Championship qualifiers have been arranged for the same day.

This would have taken Tobiasz Musielak and Patryk Wojdylo out of the meeting against the Watling JCB Lions, although the former is now on the injury list.

King’s Lynn have proposed Monday July 1 as a provisional re-staging date, and we will update supporters if and when this date is confirmed.

The club will make no further comment at this stage on the circumstances surrounding the postponement.

The Lions are now in a break from action and will resume their campaign on Thursday May 23 when they travel to Sheffield, but before then the Lion Cubs are in action at home to Belle Vue this Sunday (May 12, 3pm).

It continued...

They should have flown in Mickey and Minnie Mouse to replace Tobiasz and Patryk to give the punters what they want...

No, the speedway community don't want a team to suffer, but they will not tolerate a club manipulating/breaking rules to survive. Its unethical and Lynn should not expect sympathy from anyone. As has been pointed out on numerous occasions, its Buster's fault for not assembling a competitive team from the outset. He is not bigger than the sport and I hope the outcome of SCB review will be something to remind him of this.
