Tobias seems to be handling the track very well.

Yes he is making his doubters look silly now! They said he would struggle to get 4 points a meeting but I don't think he has scored less than 4 yet!

Certainly performing better than I thought he would

Trouble was people were giving an opinion on what he did 5 years ago which is not the best thing to do. Should look at what he had been doing in Denmark in the meantime.

Anyway glad he is having a good meeting!

Glad we have him, looks a great signing and so does Brennan.

Congrats to Poole on going through. Special mention to the fans on the third bend who made the trip up. Couldn’t really understand why your riders (minus Brennan) didn’t take the victory lap for you after heat wins.

Story of the Thomson’s tonight - that was the difference, really.

Not the best night’s racing but, as always, Josh made up for that in heats 13 + 15.

Encouraging result. Beating the best team in the league on the night and missing out by just 5 on aggregate. Playoffs hopefully a realistic aim.

Writing was on wall when Kye got passed by Tom when we were on a 5 1. Connor should be winning heat 2. Will support the boys but really we should have had a couple of new faces in the 1 to 5.

Great to see Josh use the inside line tonight.

IMO league is too diluted rider wise this year with the new team building average.

Congtats to Poole, won fair and square but what a great chanceMonarchs missed after blowing an 8 point early lead.

Many have said that, but where do the riders come from to strengthen the league.

Quite a few heat leaders left the Champ, there's a few British second strings happy to do RS & Poland.

The only way I can see the league being stronger would be to drop all the 2.00 Brits for 4.00 foreigners.

Think fans will have to get used to a weaker Championship in the years to come.

Disappointing not to go through as I feel Poole were there for the taking after the first 4 heats. The track dried out pretty quickly after the first grade and heat 5 killed our momentum. All credit to Poole, they rode well and adjusted to the drying track, Brennan was top notch.

On the positive side, it’s another home win against a very strong side. Josh now looks like a reliable number 1 and has been well backed up by Paco & Sedgy. I’ve been impressed with Connor & Max settling in and scoring important points at reserve but Kye was woeful tonight, it’s simply not good enough for a number 3 and I’m not sure how long we can put up with it for.

And with this weaker league, will we get lower admission prices? This year, last years reserves are now in the main 1-5 and all the reserves have come from the NL, but the admission prices have not been reduced to reflect this?

Rider wages are not the only cost in running a speedway team! If only........

He has a point though, if you keep diluting the product but charge the same or more for it then eventually fans will see it as not value for money.

The way it will be viewed and rightly is paying less 2 years ago for a better product.

Nearly all sports look to improve there product  but in Speedway it is the opposite.

Great move by the promoter to shuffle things and bring in brennan, cant see him being in this lower league next season, think the cooks if they are really going to progress have to move on from div2 somehow.
