Looks OK from 3-4pm, chance of rain increases 4-5pm. Hopefully should be OK if the ref cracks on where possible.

Every forecast is different shock  providing no track issues this week should fly through it with a bit of luck. Fancy comets to turn it around today

Absolutely! Who'd be a promoter, agonising about the British weather about eight times out of 10?

One thing I’ve learned about living here, the weather is always different to what’s forecast, it’s like we have our own micro climate

Rained all morn down coast anyone near northside report on weather?

Nothing showing on the rain radar but it's overcast and steady light rain in Seaton at the moment about a mile away from the track

Been damp all morning with that annoying fine drizzle but no heavy rain, if it clears up like its looking too, track will be in perfect condition

Can’t believe that Redcar have done that without a King Charles max. !!

No need for King Charles when you have King Edwards!

After last nights home defeat that’s a welcome result, would have taken a win on aggregate but a 10 point win away is excellent. Brilliant from Jason (who scored 2 there a couple of weeks ago) and a good all round team effort (Knudsen aside).

Just shows how inconsistent this team is.

What a difference 24 hours makes for both sides. A bit of a reality check for Workington perhaps.

Well done Jason Edwards, the nicest man in speedway.

Edwards was brilliant today, best rider out there by a mile. Riss was also impressive his skills on a bike are brilliant.

Comets just weren’t at the races today, getting out the start was winning you a race more than not. Well done to Redcar.

Can’t win them all so the focus should now be getting it dialled in at home for the league. Track wasn’t its usual racey self today because of the weather. None stop drizzle all day didn’t help and crowd was low because of it. Can’t say it shouldn’t of been on (even though it shouldn’t of been) because it’ll be oh you’re a sore loser

how can the track be that dry with rain all morning

redcar were up for it  and adapted to track better which often happens with away teams on a track the home riders are not use to

the 2 glasgow riders were good guests for workington

cookie took a big fall  pleased he came back out

No complaints beaten by the better side, Redcar gated better and wanted it more, some decent tussles despite the drizzle making conditions poor towards the end,  onwards and upwards for the Comets, no easy meetings roll on summy and tiggers next week
