So am not surprised with his score. nicholls trumps cook

It was,but there still needs to be improvement from Toft imo.He was beaten so easily in ht14 when we needed something from him.Riss of all people was in a different postcode to him. Also Iversen's mistake against Wright possibly cost us a draw, although in his defence the track grade and watering made it pretty slippery, they both nearly had each other off a couple of times.Onwards and upwards though but we still need another signing imo, because Klindt won't make the difference between winning and losing. Toby was excellent tonight.Mind you that last bend in the last race when he locked up how Tungate didn't wipe him out i will never know.Big well done to Tungate for some how avoiding him.
SPEEDY69
Without Nicholls I think Oxford would have lost

hardtobeat89
A much more positive performance tonight by the Stars. Especially a stronger meeting for Patryk who I think has taken a little criticism on previous threads, hopefully getting more dialled into the British tracks. I think we forget that we have had very little track time this year against some of the stronger teams in the league. Hopefully this will be a confidence boost for all the riders. Bagpuss
Imperative that we follow that up with a win next Thursday.

That was a bit better. We should have around 7.5 points to replace MPT or Patryk with at the end of the month. I hope we try and use them.
Hackett
Spires with a handy guest in scott Nicholls. Bad nights for Wright , Harris and more worryingly Janowski again. Tungate maintaining his excellent form. Expected the Stars to get pumped but looks like a decent effort especially by Musielak. V
szkocjasid
I thought Lynn had strong reserves pre-season, but they never seem to both go well at the same time. They are well below the limit, so could attempt to strengthen up there (if there's riders available to come in).

V Wright rode better than his points score. He was passing Iversen if he didn't get out of shape in his early heat and he was unlucky to be excluded on the first bend there were elbows before he came off. Harris not his usual self particularly in heat 11. Don't think Janowski looked that bad just not getting the scores of a number one just yet- will see how he gets on at a faster track in Sheffield. Colinspeedway
Rider replacement got paid 10 which is probably more than Klindt would have got.
kelvinht
Watched the live feed last night. Decent shift from the stars. Couldn't work out how tofty looked really quick in 2 races and really pants in his other two. Patryk looked better, but not quick enough. Anders was always in the mix and a bit unlucky not to get more. Schlien on commentry talked as if he knew we'd got another change coming and it would make us top 4 material Being a stars fan I thought Wright tried to turn back to inside to block niels....so should have been excluded
FAST GATER
Whilst I appreciate him looking to the future it's a shame Scott can't do a full PL season as he is riding as well as ever ,hopefully this won't be his last season as a rider .

Tungates move on Cook was naughty too, that could have ended nasty. All in all though a fair result imo.
Clive Ward
Although it was a good performance from the team last night we definitely need one more change asap. Personally I would keep Tofty and get rid of Patryk as their averages are virtually the same but I suspect Tofty comes a lot cheaper money the club could put towards a replacement. The big question is who is available on about a 7.5 point average.? Can’t think of anybody who would like to come over to the uk to ride, thoughts anyone.
