As yet no offence has been committed. I assume that once the meeting is finished and the ACU referee submits his report the SCB will put out a statement saying they are investigating, and another one about the outcome.

There seems an awful lot of sound and fury over very little at the moment. Doyle missed his plane. He will plead his case emphasising the mitigating circumstances and the SCB will adjudicate. Until then there's not much to be said. At least (unlike Oxford) the Witches have been able to find a 75% guest - ironically from Oxford!

The thing is we live in an information media age, it's the easiest thing in the world to put out a statement explaining the circumstances and then there is no speculation (Unless it's Buster at King's Lynn that is :D)

Like old days tonight, 4 Ipswich riders wearing race jackets. The guests are understandable but why Sayfutdinov and Jenkins not got Ipswich race suits?

Emil burnt his on an exhaust a few weeks ago and are allegedly at the tailors for repair. JJ, not so sure.

Technically yes you probably have to wait until  the meeting starts or finishes - however we all knew he wasn’t showing up

Anyway ‘Sound and Fury’ what sports fans do the best!

Charles Wright is about as good as you can get at BV at such short notice - presume he still lives local too!

He didn't miss his plane, he was sitting on it when passengers had to get off due to technical issues

i was a bit surprised as the 2 are very similar

but 1 allowed a guest 1 not

speedway is the looser here not ipswich or oxford

They’re not similar though are they. One’s plane departed on time but just didn’t get on it, the other got on his plane and was told to get off it as it wasn’t taking off. You’re comparing apples with oranges. Think one or two from Sheffield way are calling for a ban because they sniff an opportunity with Sheffield riding at Foxhall on Thursday..

What about when Bomber didn't make it in time for "start time" at Glasgow the other week? Due to being stuck in traffic?

they both failed to make there meeting

so yes they are similar

the difference is do they both get a 7 day ban or not

both teams contacted the scb to notify  the delay

so for the first meeting the option should be the same either guest on reduced average or no facility

The NSS is getting on for 10 years old... you'd think that they'd be able to prepare a track that wasn't so grippy in damp conditions by now B)

When it's good it's the best, when it's bad it's quite processional

He did make it.

Only because the meeting was held up for him... why not wait for Tungate/Doyle... stupid I know, but rules must be consistent

Maybe because Tungate wasn’t even in the same country? How long are you going to wait? It’s down to the SCB to do their own investigation as to why Tungate missed his flight. Maybe they weren’t happy with the reasons given? Fact remains, one flight took off on time and one didn’t take off at all. As I say, apples and oranges. Calling for a ban for a rider who was on his flight and told to get off it is bloody ridiculous.

Another damp very grippy track leading to fast times but poor racing. We not had a dry meeting yet .

NSS getting on for 10 years old now... they should have sussed track prep by now

That's why you need rules and not just make inconsistent decisions on a case by case basis

8 years and we have the best track guy in the country, you can’t stop the rain! You can add water but you can’t take it off!!!
