I think Leon has started to believe all the hype about himself unfortunately.

IMO this is a make or break season for Leon, he rather stagnated last year at Berwick so I was delighted he took the decision to move away from Berwick to Glasgow and Birmingham as he was to comfortable at Berwick. By now he should be challenging for a top five spot in the top league but evidence does not show that, personally I hope Birmingham stick with Leon but poor scores will only lead to one thing.

Trouble is he is in a poor Team and he will be under pressure to perform. He will be under pressure as Tigers 3rd heat leader too.IMO.Time will tell.

I'd say the opposite where Leon is concerned?

I think complacency is the problem !

Imo poor scores will lead to nothing as far as the RS position goes. He's so far ahead of any possible replacement, he's got the spot for the season 99.99% guaranteed.

Millik/Worrall and Lampart need changing!

Cook has potential and we've got no choice but to keep Flint (even though he's struggling and wont improve this season imo...)

It wont be long before Sam Hagon surpasses Flint!

Pawliki looks like he'll be a force when they prepare the track right!

Tolley has 2 choices carry on and lose shed loads more, or put his hand deeper into his pocket and get a true No1, Milik is finding it tough, Worrall is not a heat leader right now he aint a very good second string, Flint flattered to deceive against Sheffield, hard as it may seem Lampart, Milik or Worrall have to make way for a proper No1 goodness me Nigel Tolley needs to bring in quickly a proven experienced team manager that knows who to sign and what he is doing, their was one kicking his heels down in Swindon but Tolley has placed his faith in the wrong people yet again.

The situation Birmingham are in lies completely at Tolley's door, with p155 poor rider selection, that anybody with an inkling of knowledge of the sport could see wasn't up to the task of even being competitive in the PL, Brum are going to face tougher tests than Leicester at home, it doesn't look good for them.

Any decent rider, IF available would only hold Brum to ransom and want guarantees rather than a performance related deal. Although Tolley did imply that money was not an obstacle in their team building before their full line up was declared. That was always going to bite him in the a*se and I wonder how comfortably he’s sitting lately!

Before the season started Tolley was claiming that he had 6 or 7 riders to "choose" from and when he announced the riders he had chosen just about everybody predicted this kind of performance, especially now Nicholls has moved on. Maybe @Col is correct in thinking that once everybody has an actual average a wonder signing will be made that will make them into title contenders as the title is won in September/October and not March/April... but looking at the make up of Brum teams over the last few years I doubt very much that this will happen

Those running the GB under 21 set up just might be creating some riders that maybe, just maybe,  are getting ahead of themselves, and see themselves a fair way further up the pecking order than they actually are..

I think you may have hit on something here, it must be very tempting when your riding on the continent in your shiny new race suit with the Union Jack emblazoned on it and covered in sponsors, with a impressive support team around you to think you've made it!

There are many riders that were exciting prospects end up as journeymen speedway riders.Maybe he is in that category.

Maybe he is, the sport needs these kind of riders to survive though, not every rider is going to "make it"

I don't think Brummies have a "wonder signing" lined up, there isn't a wonder signing out there, Zagar is probably as good as it gets.  But if Lampart is given enough time to attain an actual average rather than remaining on his assessed average he could be replaced by Zagar now, and should another shuffle be made later in the season due to injuries for example there are more options to re-jig a team with Lampart on at attained average (of let's say 3.75) rather than his assessed average (is that 5.00).  I don't know if there is a minimum average for Poles before any pipes up with that.

Pawlicki and Milik have been given averages of 7.5 Lampart has been given 6.0.

Well when Pawlicki, Lampart & Milik attain actual averages Laguta can replace Worrall and Vaculik cab replace Lampart.

Premiership be warned!
