Glasgow v Edinburgh BSN Cup 12/424 @7.30

Recommended Posts

If we are actually out of the monsoon season before Friday we might get our home campaign up and running .

Our nearest and dearest are first up and they arrive with much the same mediocre side as last year . Pickering is always good value right enough , but the rest ?????. Thomson has the odd decent meeting around Ashfield , the Italian porn star has the odd competitive race in him , can't see the rest doing too much .

I'm assuming Lee will still be kicking his heels waiting on the second test result to clear him , so we will possibly need a guest reserve . So if we can put the canoes away I think a 20 point home win should be achievable

Sedgy had couple decent meetings guesting last season, particularly in the enemies colours. Ben and Tom were tougher opposition for him than worrall and Leon imo. Think might be pretty tight actually, would take 10 points

You should have been the PR agent for Nick Morris, Ritchie Worrall and Steve Boxall with that kind of confidence! :drink:

Providing it goes ahead I think this will be decided by the newbies in each team - Leon, Paul and James for Glasgow, Justin, Connor and Max for Edinburgh. The rest will no doubt perform as we expect so the onus will be on what the new guys will bring to the fixture.

I think Glasgow by six at the end of the meeting.

I fully expect to be six up after heat 2.

Should number 6 be unavailable I'd say hagon is the best of the not engaged riders. If we're given a 75% would be still qualify my maths isn't the best?

Glasgow should be allowed up to Complin's average, 75% rule not needed.

I make it 2.625. so assuming you round up? To 2.63. But even if you round down Hagon still fits. Good practice for when we visit ;)

While you make a fair point Edinburgh "arrive with much the same mediocre side as last year" Glasgow are far weaker than last year. So if anything Edinburgh should perform better this time.

There might be sacking if that is the case.

Until the heels stop getting dragged to clear Lee , we are kinda limited in our options . Mulford would be the ideal guest but unfortunately Redcar also are a Friday night track . So Hagen , Hodder and McGurk are the only real choices . And all are complete novices at this level . Though Hodder seems to have started the season pretty well

McGurk also riding Friday for the comets, away to Redcar. If you’re going to have anyone, Sam hagon would be my pick.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the (anticipated) club statement will be today.

Might be "treading water" of course but I wonder if they'll publicly give Lee their 100% backing.
