Wasn't expecting that. The Pirates are looking really impressive.

Nor me! Good to see the new riders have good meeting too, should settle the nerves for them a bit.

Can't remember the last time I saw Masters leading a race and being passed twice in two races at Poole but then not as slick as last season.

Tobias T said to me before the meeting he had parcelled up the neg feedback hos signjng had brought over tge winter and was going to show what he can do. Was far mire accomplished than expected. Sam Hagon take a bow. Superb debut.

Special mention to Killeen who tried all night and battled hard for his points.

That 2, 3 & 4 for Oxford didn't look strong to me this season, could be a few of those away from home especially if masters doesn't show up either.

For Poole good to see Tom starting well, always thought hagon be one of the leagues better reserves. Looks pretty ominous for the rest of us!

Tobias 5+1 from a 4 point 2nd string! What's not to like (eh Martin Hunter?) and a donut too. Ticking the box.

61-29 didn't see that coming. Fab crowd, both car parks full half hour before start time. We'll done team.

I said before season started Oxford Championship team look weak. Great performance by the Pirates though

Oxford built a point under the limit, so looking for a big improvement from one (or more) of their bottom 5.

Probably will be a different prospect around their home track, but bonus points will be harder to come by than last year.
