If you ever watch a Toruń meeting you'll hear Lambert referred to as Roberta Lamberta often. Janowski was referred to as Janowskiego after being interviewed at the end too. Long gone are those days sadly and Poland shows the way so UK speedway should stop pretending and plough its own furrow. It is not and never will be a match for the presentation that takes place in Poland. Those Iin charge need to bite the bullet and start from scratch and let the promotional professionals in Poland get on with it. Eurosport and the set up no longer cuts it and if only a UK channel would carry English commentary on these live matches then it might just generate some interest in this country. The UK should have set its own agenda up and stook to a plan that reflected its standing in the world of speedway... Instead, we have an organisation living off the meagre crumbs of its Polish master's table... Producing Guestfest after Guestfest and delusionally thinking it is the way forwards.. Poland show that a team sport needs a fanbase to emotionally engage with "their team".. And if you cannot run a team sport like that, then there is zero point in trying to get a fanbase to buy into what you are doing... Well Done Majic... Be a great guest for a play off team....
